MeMeMe Long Wear Satin Lip Cream in Coral Cloak

I'm kinda pissed off that two of my favorite, and I mean favorite, coral lipsticks have been missing for a while now. They're the Revlon Coral Berry and Makeup For Ever Rouge Artist Natural in N39, ugh! I do have other coral lipsticks but I think these two are the best-looking of them all.

But one has to move on, I suppose. So, here's one of my new orange/coral lippies: the MeMeMe Long Wear Satin Lip Cream in Coral Cloak (P560 at Makeupholics).

MeMeMe is a drugstore UK brand that has been making waves locally. The products are colorful and highly pigmented, up there with Sleek, Beauty UK, and Models Own - only kitschier with a baroque sensibility. I am not a huge fan of the packaging per se, but the product itself is quite nice for the price. Remember the MeMeMe Goddess Rocks? That one's a great catch.

Coral Cloak is a beautiful creamy orange lippie that stands out without being too loud. The texture is quite silky and smooth, not too thick as to be uncomfortable. It's good for dry lips! The lipstick smells strongly of powdery vanilla - not my thing but it fades away quickly.

I wish it were more long-lasting (it starts drying up after 2-3 hours) but that's my only major complaint.

Overall, the MeMeMe Long Wear Satin Lip Cream in Coral Cloak is not perfect when it comes to the formula, but it is such a gorgeous color that I don't mind too much. I think that girls with dry lips will love this as it's creamy and super moisturizing!

Tried this yet? What's your favorite orange/coral lipstick?

Wow! The color suits you! But im kinda iffy with orang lipsticks, Im afraid my lips would look like a reflector given my morena skin tone. :) Hope you can suggest good coral or orange lips sticks for darker skin tones, Ms. Liz. Thank you! :D

I love the packaging! I don't like orange lipsticks, though.

It reminds me of Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable shade Rendezvous. Its lasting power is approx 6hrs..:)

Love the shade definitely a wearable orange lippie :) Staying power usually is the issue with creamy lipsticks. That and bleeding out

I have two shades of this Mememe lip cream. I love the scent & the creamy feeling. The only thing I'm concerned is that the product is so creamy it might move a lot & smudge all over.

I can never rock coral lipsticks like you! It looks so pretty! Have you tried their Moonbeam? Heard it's a good duper for Benefit High Beam! xx

Why do all the colors look great on you, Ms. Liz? That's a very amazing God-given talent :)
I have been hearing about MeMeMe products. And right now, I am amazed with their products. With all the reviews, they're GREAT :> Will soon try them myself soon :)

I have this in Chara, which I always refer to as atsara. :)) it's tuscan red and I think kimchi would be a more fitting nickname for it. I agree that it's not long lasting and on hotter days, for me it's a bit of a pain to have this on! Methinks Aphrodite and Isis could be worn during the coming chillier weather. I want those! This shade suits you very well! :)

Great orange lippie on you Ms Liz! However I find coral/orange shades too picky on my current skintone and so I'd love to try on Mememe satin lip cream in nude-pink e.g. Eva. :)

It looks so pretty! I like it because the orangeness of the color is very subtle, it's not a striking "I'm orange!" I think it's nakkaputi also. Where can I buy this, Ms. Liz?

Such a pretty color! I'm recently drawn to coral and orange lippies. However, I don't have lipsticks with those shades--only lip balms and lip stains. I want to get MAC's Vegas Volt or NYX Femme as a coral lipstick, then maybe MAC Morange for an orange lipstick hehe I love the orange of Rendezvouz. Sometimes I top it off with Bobbi Brown's Lip Treatment shine in Nectarine so that it becomes more coral orange rather than just orange hehe I prefer longer lasting lipsticks so if MeMeMe's formula improved I would definitely get this!

Interesting. Lovely color, nice design, good for dry lips. Thanks for another great find Ms. Liz! :D

I died at the colour! I love the creamy effect it has.

I've been into orange lipsticks since my friend made me try her MAC Morange. It's still my fave orange lippie. I also like NYX Black Label's Citrine. It's such a "look-at-me" orange.

I love the pop of color it gives! :) For darker morenas, I suggest Revlon's Coral lippie and NYX's Indie Flick.
