New Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick shades: Primrose and Coral Berry

I have already reviewed the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks (P450) so I'd just like to share swatches of the two new shades here. I think these came in a couple of months back, so if you haven't seen them yet, I do think one of the shades is worth a gander in your nearest Revlon counter!

Primrose and Coral Berry

I am in love with Coral Berry! I find it a unique lipstick shade that has a very rich, satiny finish on my lips. As the name suggests, it's a medium coral pink that looks great on warm-toned skin like mine. I highly recommend this to anyone - it's currently one of my favorite lipppies. It goes beautifully with peach cheeks and gold eyeshadow.

Primrose is a very interesting lavender-pink lipstick. I like the color, but I find that it doesn't suit my skintone well. I think that this is more appropriate for fairer-toned ladies that are in the beige spectrum. Nonetheless, I get a kick out of wearing it with heavy smokey eyes. It adds an intriguing contrast to the look that the usual nude lipsticks can't provide.

Overall, great job with the new colors Revlon! I find that the formula is slightly altered - it's more creamy than I remember - but I still need to wear lip balm underneath or else. Don't forget to check out Coral Berry ha!

Hi liz! In my opinion, I think Coral Berry would suit fair-skinned girls too. Of course, we know that fair-skinned girls can get away with anything with color, right?! But on their part, I guess they should have a light eye make-up and maybe a light blush when wearing this one so as not to over-empower the look.

Also, I think that shade is also good for a quick fix just to glam up a bit. Just powder to take away the shine, a bit for mascara and this lipstick then you're all set. :)

Awesome! I love Revlon products!I In fact, i bought the "Siren" shade based on the good review you had in the past! It's a really nice color, but too striking so I'm glad that you made a new review. I like Coral Berry! I prefer coral shades over pinkish ones and I haven't found the perfect shade yet... But I think, Coral Berry might end my long search for the perfect one! Thanks for the review!~

Hi! I agree with you Coral Berry suits you well. People with a warm skin tone usually looks good in it and yeah, Revlon Lipsticks are notable given the fact that their lipsticks are long-lasting plus it won't hurt your bank account :)
The Primrose shade however is something new, it gives that unique lavender pop. Uhm, I was wondering Ms. Liz if you could post an FOTD that will feature primrose so that your readers will know how to play up with this unique shade. Thank you :)

Wow! i like the coral berry shade. It really suits warm-toned girls. Parang instant pop of color. I have a lipstick na parang same shade dyan. yung sunburst ng Mary Kay. have you tried their products na ba? If not, I suggest you do lalo na yung powder foundation nila :)

Coral Berry looks lovely!!! I also don't know where Avon counters are available I've seen a warehouse or two though when we're on the road but no where usually near my house. : D Filipinas can never go wrong with warm shades of lipstick.

I think Primrose is more on the sensual side while Coral Berry is on the playful side. Well, that's how I feel. Haha, would love to try the Primrose one! Shades similar to Coral Berry's shade never looked good on me.

Oh, by the way, it's off topic but can you suggest a really good scar remover? Thanks!

Ay baliktad pala yung basa ko, it's Coral Berry that suits me, not primrose.

I do have this lipstick of Revlon in Coral Berry. Revlon's lipstick formulation have changed already, more creamy in texture. But what I do notice is that it still leaves my lips dry. Their lipsticks have that drying effect (I don't know if it's just me??) so better pack up on vaseline or your favorite lipbalms

Alam mo back when you raved so hard about Coral Berry, I rushed out and got myself a tube. It looked GREAT on me! It's the first lipstick I've ever been comfortable wearing.

I'm sure you don't need this but here's a photo anyway: http://i.imgur.com/37tFn.jpg

I applied it super light on that photo (because I'm still conscious about wearing lipstick haha) but it still looked super pretty. I will forever thank you for introducing me to this. :))
