These are the three Kiehl's serums to try if you're dealing with holiday stress

On a scale of one to ten, how stressed are you this season? Christmas is juuust almost a month away, so I’m sure that you’re (like me) running like a headless chicken with all the errands and parties you need to get to. If your skin is looking a bit worse for wear, I think you should check out Kiehl’s best-selling serums to help out with some possible skin issues!

If you’ve been dealing with hyperpigmentation due to pimples that came from nowhere, go for the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution (P3,200 for 30ml). This features Activated-C, and advanced Vitamin C derivative that is said to penetrate the skin deeper to reduce dark spots. This is ideally used AFTER a breakout, so make sure to wait for pimples to dry before applying this, to get best results. According to the Kiehl’s team, this is their #1 selling serum!

If, because of all the overtimes, the punishing commutes, anxiety about work and relationships, you’re forming premature fine lines, try the Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate (P3,900 for 50ml). This contains 12.5% Vitamin C (a pretty high concentration!) and hyaluronic acid to decrease the appearance of fine lines and improve skin brightness. Aging is certainly part of human life, but I do believe in slowing down the clock with serums like this one. This is a creamy serum so it’s more hydrating than the water-based Dark Spot Solution, but I would recommend pairing this with a heavy moisturizer in the evening for best results.

Swatches left to right: Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate, Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

If you’ve scheduled lots of dinners and late parties this season, don’t forget to apply the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate (P1,750 for 15ml). This is a rich oil-based serum that helps to make skin supple seemingly overnight. This is a “universal” product in the sense that it goes for all skin types (yes even if you’re an oily qt!), but it is best used at night. For that extra kick, layer it on top of any of the two serums I talked about - you get intense moisture + the actives! Remember, a couple of drops goes a long way.

Hope this helps to inform your holiday skin game plan this season. Let me know what you think, as always, and what you’re doing to keep your skin happy these days!
