The Kiehl's Advent Calendar is one of the best holiday gifts to give away this year

The first time I heard of Advent calendars was in college, when I saw a YouTuber take out chocolate from a Cadbury-branded Advent calendar. It looked like a fun idea to enjoy a little treat in the days leading to Christmas, though I had to wonder how much self-control I’d need to not open everything at once! Assuming you have enough impulse control, I can certainly imagine how “receiving” a small gift every day can set the mood for Christmas cheer. Now imagine doing that with beauty products!

This year, Kiehl’s collaborated with Finnish designer Janine Rewell to design limited edition packaging for their most beloved products. Included in this collaboration is an Advent Calendar (P5,000) that contains 24 of Kiehl’s top products in mini and travel sizes! The huge box itself is brightly decorated with Mr. Bones the Kiehl’s mascot, who has made his way back to their original apothecary in New York City with Rewell’s whimsical design.

Hidden inside the panels are picks from both the Kiehl’s skincare and body care lines. I won’t ruin the surprise by revealing all the contents (though you can get the full scoop in Liz’s unboxing video) but some of the products you can expect to find are the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, Midnight Recovery Concentrate, Multi-Corrective Cream, and Calendula Serum-Infused Water Cream!

I personally haven’t tried a lot of Kiehl’s products myself, so I was excited to try them out through this set. It’s admittedly a bit pricey but it’s a very unique experience. It would make a great gift for someone who wants to sample the different product offerings from Kiehl’s.

Kiehl’s also has sets available for different gift budgets. Get the Jingle Gels (P535) which has the gel formulas of their Lip Balm #1 and Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream for the gal pal or sister who hates applying skincare, as these will nourish skin without the greasy feel. Encourage guy friends, boyfriends, and husbands to start their skincare journey with the Ultra Starter Pack (P995) which has a mini Ultra Facial Cream and deluxe Ultra Light Daily UV Defense.

Give Dad the Calendulovers set (P2,150) that contains mini and deluxe sizes of their Calendula line so he doesn’t forget to do his skincare. For the special Tita who loves to glow, give her the White Christmas set (P5,300) that has full-sized bottles of the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution and Ultra Light Daily UV Defense. And for Mom who deserves the best, gift her the All I Want For Christmas set (P8,225) that has three full-sized Holiday Limited Edition products.

The Kiehl’s holidays sets and limited edition packaging designed by Janine Rewell are now available at Kiehl’s stores. You can also drop by their Pop-Up Gift Workshop at SM Megamall to check out the collection!

Have you done your Christmas shopping? Which set are you excited for?
