Tutorial: The Summer Mauve Eye
I used to be so self-conscious whenever I wear bright eyeshadow, but that soon faded away when I realized that what other people think about it doesn't count. I enjoy it and it doesn't affect anybody, really, so I decided to wear it whenever I feel like. It's that simple!
And oh so liberating. I still believe that our makeup should match the occasion and venue, but we can always push the envelope if it feels like the right thing to do. It's just makeup. You can always take it off.
Anyway, for this look, I did a mauve-y eye with a pop of purple on the lids. ^_^ It's slightly smoked out with heavy eyeliner and ultra-black mascara. I paired it with a rosy pink lip- my favorite L'Oreal Color Riche Extraordinaire gloss, Rose Symphony. Hope you guys like it!
