Three colognes to try

Do you wear colognes? I rarely do these days because I prefer eau de toilettes due to the better staying power and more complex selections available. Nonetheless, I still appreciate a nice cologne especially if it's affordable. They're perfect for young women who want to smell fresh and pretty without spending a lot of money for a bottle! Colognes don't last very long since they are alcohol-based, but you can just chuck them in your bag and spray as much and as often as you need to.

I recently came across three colognes that I think you (or your younger niece and cousin) would enjoy. ^_^ I love how effervescent, sweet, and young these scents are. They're just perfect for tweens in elementary and high school, teens in college, and working girls just starting out in their careers. Check 'em out!

Pure n Fresh is known best for personal hygiene products, but a couple of months ago the brand ventured into scents for tweens. Tropical Splash, Blush Berry, and Tangerine Delight are bright colognes that feature luscious fruity combinations. Tangerine Delight is citrusy with mandarin, orange, and apple notes; Blush Berry is sweet with strawberry, pear, and apple blossom; while Tropical Splash is soft and creamy with apricot and peach.

Get it for your little girls-going-on-tween. They are very affordable at only P40 for a 55ml bottle, so you can have your daughter or niece wear it everyday!

And here is my favorite out of this bunch. ;) The Avon Kate's World Body Spritz (P350) looks like your typical cologne, but I find it quite complex and interesting. Both scents are powdery, with layers of fruity, floral, and dare I say vanilla notes in it. I love these! I would be using them, not just as cologne but as a room spray as well. ;)

This is perfect for girls in college who want something more grown-up than Pure n Fresh. But really, packaging aside, I think all ages would appreciate this! I checked the current brochure but it doesn't seem to be available at the moment. Just ask your Avon lady if she has it.

Last but not least, check out the United Colors of Benetton Refreshing Body Mist (P499). UCB is famous for its fresh EDTS, so how do the body mists compare? The same sophistication is present in the mists, but of course the formula doesn't linger on skin as long as the EDTs.

Appealing Lily and Cheering Rose are all about flowers with a musky base. It's the most mature out of the three colognes I featured here, something I would recommend for girls who just got a new job and need a work-appropriate scent. They can smell a bit heavy so make sure to use them sparely. :) I believe they are available in department stores!

So there you go. Which one do you like best? What's your current cologne?

I prefer EDTS over colognes too, but my mom has always provided me with a constant supply of Avon colognes. My mom is thoughtful like that :)
I would love to try the Benetton EDTs, especially the Rose one. :)

I am almost at my 30's but I still prefer colognes because eau de toilette or eau de parfum usually is too strong for me, although I wish it suits me for the scent because usually is has more staying power and starry eyed by looking at fancy bottles and big labels.

Fragrances are like wine, the enviable ritual of the decoding of fragrance jargon is a bit mysterious and considered by many, to be an imperfect science.

Perfect to get the zingy, tangy whiff in hot and humid climates, cologne droplets can also be used to add fragrance to kerchiefs, linens, closets and pillows. The freshness factor is potent in colognes because of the presence of heavy citrus notes in its traditional original recipe. Lo and behold, if you run out of water at any point, you can also use cologne to freshen hands because it has anti bacterial properties! ♥

I will definitely try the 3 different colognes.

Colognes! This is bringing back so many memories from highschool which was when I last wore colognes! I always had Bench Bubblegum on my bag then. Haha! Now I rarely wear colognes because of the staying power.

I've only been using victoria's secret in pure sesuction, paired with the same scent of the lotion and i love the scent and how it stays longer that way. But these colognes are perfect gifts for the little ones on Christmas! Now there's no more just zen zest to check out for affordable yet nice fragrances. I'm interested in avon kate's world for myself naman. :) Have a nice day, Liz! God bless! =)

I usually go for Bath & Body Works. I don't really use perfume unless someone gave it to me as it is pricey. Would love to try the United Colors of Benetton Refreshing Body Mist. :)

I use Victoria's Secret or bath &body works. I don't usually wear perfumes for I'm scared that it might smell weird if I sweat. Some colognes are like that, Johnson's cologne makes you smell like body odor if mixed with sweat.

The Victoria's Secret juiced berry body mist from their beauty rush line is my absolute favorite! Thanks to my aunt from the states is our constant supplier of Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body works body mists. Locally, I also love the Johnson's baby cologne especially the tropical burst and bench also has nice scents too! :)

I love Victoria's Secret Vanilla Lace body mist because I love vanilla. Surprisingly, it lasts as long as EDTs on me.

I have the tropical splash stashed in my office for any emergency. For example, I need to have an emergency overnight at the office, at least I can keep fresh and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg to keep an emergency cologne.

The ones I'm using right now are Tease and Sky Bright (both by Victoria's Secret), and Kiwi Frost by Bench which I've been purchasing for more than 13 years now. hehehe I'll check out the Kate's World Body Spritz when I go to an Avon outlet to purchase a quad. :)

Like most people, I think I started out with Johnson's Baby Colognes, but eventually upgraded to the Victoria's Secret body mists and Bath and Body Works. I've recently attended this crash course on perfumery, so I'm experimenting on my own blends most of the time :3 but Japanese Cherry Blossom has always been a favorite, along with Sensual Amber (both by BBW) :D

Wearing cologne makes me feel younger and instantly guves me the just-got-out-of-the-shower vibe. I use the ever reliable johnsons baby cologne original for my daughter but i occasionally use it for myself, too, as an instant upper. I think colognes are fun! Would love to try thr colognes you mentioned if i see them in stores👼🍸
