Hot from L'Oreal: Lucent Magique, Color Riche, Revitalift
Monday, January 28, 2013 at 7:26AM I've read good things about the L'Oreal Lucent Magique Liquid Foundation (or Lumi Magique in the US) and I'm so happy to announce that it's finally here in Manila! Lucent Magique is all about "light-infusion" or brightening, but without the obvious accompanying shimmer. I immediately used the foundation as soon as I got it, and mark my words, I sniff a new favorite low-cost base!

The liquid foundation is only P845. Very, very affordable yet it feels so high end. It reminds me of the Lancome Teint Miracle, actually. Same finish but the Lancome I think is more long-lasting.

Another interesting product is the Lucent Magique Concealer Pen. It's only P545 and works much like my favorite Clinique Airbrush Concealer, although the peg is the YSL Touche Eclat. Same banana. It's a highlighting concealer for dark circles and shadowy corners of the face - just in time, I've run out of my Clinique!
The Lucent Magique Two Way Cake (P845) is a powder foundation with three shades that promise a lit-from-within effect. Looks good, though I got the wrong shade. I'm so lucky the liquid foundation was spot on.

Liquid foundation, concealer pen, two-way cake
Next up, the L'Oreal Color Riche Les Ombres Eye Shadow (P875). It's an intensified eyeshadow formula that comes in a sleek gold and black case. I think I'll let the swatches speak for this one!

Bleu Mariniere palette

Ooooh
Last but not the least, meet L'Oreal's latest anti-aging product: the Revitalift White Anti-Wrinkle & Anti-Spot Night Cream (P870). It has Pro-Retinol A to supposedly stimulate cell renewal and Vitamin Cg to reduce "melanine transfer to cells". If you like the Revitalift Day Cream then this might work wonderfully for you too.

So there you go! Stay tuned for the review of Lumi Magique and the Color Riche eyeshadow in a few weeks. ;) I'm excited, weirdly enough. What do you think? Will you be trying any of these new L'Oreal releases?

Wow! Exciting new products to try on! I'm interested on the cream and the powder foundation. I think I might be buying one to lessen my dark spots! I don't like using liquid foundation on a daily basis. I feel like I'm putting too much on my face! Is the powder foundation without shimmer? I don't know why but I'm not fond of shimmers. That's why I always look for products without one, especially on blushes.
Would love to try the concealer pen! Looks promising :)
The foundies looks promising. Imma try this out later :)
Thanks for this review! I would like to try the liquid foundation and the quad. The eyeshadow swatches are very pigmented, they look very pretty!
OMG YAY. I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO TRY THE LUMI PEN FOR SO LONG. Sorry about the caps! I'm just extremely excited!
Excited for the Lucent Magique review! It does look high end, and with a fairly affordable price. I wonder what other shades they have for the eyeshadow! Love the packaging of those products, they don't look like a drugstore brand at all! Thanks for the update on these new products Ms. Liz!
I'm a big fan of light reflective / concealer pens thanks to the great Lisa Eldridge! Finally an affordable option! I still have Clinique airbrush, Stila all-over luminizing liquid, and Chanel's Eclat Lumiere. All three have done their part in blessing me with subtle yet compelling contouring. It would be interesting to personally compare these products of different price ranges to an even cheaper alternative. I think these concealer pens are just great for very light skin-showing-through kind of coverage for day. Wish ko na lang na may sunscreen actives na isama:)) haha, Hope you review the pen, Liz! I know you have tons of experience with these types of products.
Interested on the concealer pen, the foundation and of course the night cream, since i'm such a skincare addict. looking forward to your reviews Liz!
The concealer pen is here too? Joy! I'm running out of Clinique's Airbrush Concealer as well, and was thinking of checking this out as a cheaper alternative. Yay more reviews to look forward to. ^_^
I will look forward to your reviews on the concealer pen and the night cream. Thankie! :)
I love that the liquid foundation is yellow!
I saw this in the dept. store and I saw that they have a BB cream too. I would do anything to control my oiliness. My Revlon Colorstay is starting to lose its power on me. Do you suggest applying BB cream under foundation?
Aww I was hoping you post pics of you trying on the foundation but YAY another brightening product do want! Either the Lucent Magique or the 2 way cake :D
is the lucent/ lumi magique foundie same as the l'oreal true match lumi foundation mentioned by bloggers in the US?
The foundation is color green?
The liquid foundation seems very interesting. And OMG, the eye shadows look superb! I am looking forward to the review Liz, and of course, the look using the E/S. :)
The concealer pen is also a must-try. And it is very affordable to. I'm looking at the mirror right now and my face needs concealing. I have redness/discoloration around my nose, I don't know how to deal with it. :(
The liquid foundation looks interesting. :) I haven't tried any other L'oreal product, this might be my first. Are there other shades?
hi Liz, is this the same as the L'Oreal Lumi?
Hi Liz! Hope you can give a thorough review of revitalift night cream.
oh god, there goes my first paycheck! :p i've been eyeing the teint miracle but the price tag's a little steep for me. this is perfect!
I'm eyeing the Revitalift cream. I haven't found a keeper moisturizer yet and this has got me interested although I'm still a bit iffy. Isn't it too cheap for a good moisturizer? Pardon my bias, I just find that for eye creams and face moisturizers, you get what you pay for. I also had a not-so-good experience with the Revitalift eye cream because they gave me small itchy bumps on my lids so I had to discontinue.
Bleu Mariniere palette looks promising. Was it swatched on its own without primer? It's very pigmented. If I decide to go beyond my neutrals, I'll definitely include blues (not the tacky ones) and this would be one consideration. I like that it's a set already and I expect application's going to be fool-proof since the colors are graded in the pan. I'm loving the lightest and the darkest shade.:-)
I hope you can do a full review on the Lucent Magique Concealer Pen. I know Urban Decay has one but as usual it doesn't come cheap, and as far as I know, we don't have it here yet.
can i know what shade of the two way cake did you get? thanks!
parang the maybelline pen is better daw than the loreal's
i think that's what ive been hearing.
pero i haven't seen the maybelline one yet in our shores.
Hi Liz! We have the same skin tone and foundation shade in MAC (NC35). What shade did you get for the L'Oreal Lucent Magique Liquid Foundation? :)
"Lucent Magique Concealer Pen" this is the highlighter one, right? Anyway, how do you find it? you see I also have that one :) you can check my review here:
