My top 10 favorite finds last May

The month of May was marked by Holy Grail finds - stuff that I now use regularly and will definitely buy when I run out. Here's the monthly installment of my top 10 finds! :)

The K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner is my favorite eyeliner, ever. It's a liquid eyeliner that doesn't budge or smudge, and has a brush applicator that is super easy to use. I can make thin or graphic lines, draw even, with this eyeliner pen. Win!

I love these Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Lipsticks because of their shades. The hot pink and nude beige are spot on - exactly what I was looking for. Read my review and a tutorial of how I used them in two looks!

The Makeup For Ever Rouge Artist Natural in N39 has a great long-lasting formula and comes in about a hundred shades. San ka pa? :P It's a bit pricey though but it does look and feel expensive. Try this if you like luxe lipsticks.

These days, I mostly use just the Studio Makeup Pro Shadow Shading Brush when applying my eyeshadows. It can apply crease, lid, and brow bone colors effortlessly. Saves me time from grabbing different brushes.

Looking for a cheap and fairly good eyeshadow primer? Then you'll love the ArtDeco Eyeshadow Base! It's only P450 and easily available in all Beauty Bar branches. Mind, this isn't as powerful as the UDPP, but it does pretty well and it's available in malls.

I cannot say enough just how much I love the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate. It's now what I use as a serum and impromptu moisturizer at night.

For the odd pimple of two, I always turn to the VMV Hypoallergenics Red Better Spot Corrector. It dries up pimples quickly, especially calming the really red ones. You know when sometimes you have a crazy red pimple that awkwardly surfaces just before you leave the house? This may be a solution.

I LOVE THIS STUFF. The Kérastase Elixir Ultime now serves as a sort of conditioner and hair serum for me. I just use my shampoo, towel dry my hair, then add a couple of pumps to keep my hair shiny, soft, and manageable all day.

Carbtrim has helped me lose 6 pounds. I still buy boxes of this every other week! At the very least, it's a tasty iced tea drink that's only about 35 calories - really useful if you're not into drinking just water.

I like a lot of salons, but none of them are in my area. I finally got around to trying the relocated Louis Phillip Kee Salon in The Fort and I love what they did to my hair. Will definitely come back!

And that's it for my top 10. Which one did I convince you to buy? Haha. Until next month!
