Rave review: K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner
Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 12:10PM The best eyeliner I've ever tried is the K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner (P895 at Beauty Bar). There. I said it! It's a lot to claim, I know, but I am totally awed by this Japenese liquid eyeliner. I've used sooo many eyeliners in the past but this is the only one that combines convenience, lasting power, opacity, and ease of application in one small tube.

Lasting power. The "1-day tattoo" eyeliner lasts all day and doesn't smudge even if you're sweaty or oily. Nonetheless, it washes off with water and soap without leaving any nasty smudges. It's not 100% waterproof, meaning if you splash your eyes and rub it will disappear. But who does that anyway?
You don't need a makeup remover to take this off. Not like I'd suggest leaving off the makeup remover, but it's nice to know if this is the only eye makeup you're wearing.

Perfect pointed synthetic-fiber brush. It's no wonder that the Japanese are crazy about this! This received a lot of rave reviews and awards in magazines over there. It's so easy to use that I'm sure that eyeliner newbies can get a perfect line with no fuss. You can make a thin or thick line, depending on your preference. Cat eyes? No problem! I love that the brush is super easy to control and responds to any direction without causing the eyeliner to skip.

Opacity and available colors. K-Palette eyeliners come in Super Black and Deep Brown. They don't seem opaque in the swatches but on your lash line they will look quite solid and dark. This doesn't fade during the day.

Verdict and recommendations. Well, hell, I don't know what else to say. The raves of the other local beauty bloggers are all well-deserved! I think that everyone who loves a decent eyeliner will love this to death. I guess the only people who won't are the ones who like eyeliners they can smudge and smoke out. That is the major limitation of liquid eyeliners.
The K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner isn't exactly cheap at P895 but I think it's worth the price tag. :) Get it and weep!
Tried this yet? What do you think?

I love this eyeliner!!! I have this one in black and it's very easy to use and withstands my super oily eyelids! I'm tempted to get the brown one. I'm also curious about dollywink ;)
Have you tried the Real Lasting Brow Liquid? I'm super curious about that product! If it's as good as their eyeliner, I'd totally buy it!
i want to try this! :) i never knew we had this liner in the philippines! puro sa raves ng boggers and make up gurus ko lang kasi siya narriring! thanks liz!
Good thing we have Beautybar in Marquee Mall! I'll check it out and see if they got this and of course, Artdeco! Ahhh when will I be an independent working woman? Haha!
It looks and works just like dollywink. But I'm not sure about the waterproof stuff. I always remove my dollywink eyeliner with a make-up remover because of the mascara I wear. I didn't know this is available here in the Philippines. Thanks Liz.
Thank you so much for this post Ms. Liz! Nakakita na rin ako, buti na lang may Beauty Bar sa Robinsons Galleria. Oh, I'm soooo gonna be trying this one after I finish my Majolica Majorca Automatic Liner.
Love this eyeliner! Despite what others may say, I think liquid liner is the easiest to use for beginners, not pencil or gel, especially with something so easy to use like this, hehe!
i've been using this for a 2 years! i love this product. i got the limited edition (the pen color is pink with a free cd).
i have oily face and oily lids. i sweat a lot. to give you an idea i am located in cavite and sometimes in los baƱos, laguna. i thought i'll never find an eyeliner suited for me. this lasts for a whole day (with oil and sweat going on) before it flakes and automatically be removed from my eyes. well i'm still happy even if it flakes at the end of the day because it does it job to hold on the whole day. at night (with less oil and no sweat) it lasts forever!:) by the way, i bought mine from japanichi.multiply.com since i don't know where to buy it locally a year before.:)
Hi Liz, how do you compare this to Majo's automatic liner? Thanks! :)
Hi Liz, don't you have a hard time getting the product out towards the brush? I do. I don't know if the one I bought was defective or I'm doing something wrong. When I swatch it on my hand, it's very opaque but when I put in on my lash line, I'm having the hardest time to get the product to show. It happened a few days after and I lost the receipt or threw it away already so I couldn't return it. :(
oemgeee!!! i love this! i purchased k palette eyeliner in hk 3 years ago and still works fine until now hehehehe i know thats bad accdg to makeup and hygiene police! it has not dried up yet that s all im sying
