My travel must-haves

Good morning from Baguio! I'm here with Marco to chill - quite literally. It's very cold here. Unfortunately I was naive enough to think otherwise, so I brought only one jacket and mostly flimsy clothes. Horror, I tell you, especially for someone who has low tolerance for cold. How I wish I sneaked off some of the new Ukay Manila blazers from my store! (Yes I just have to say that lol. New arrivals today ladies!)

Anyway, I'd just like to share with you the kikay stuff I brought. You can easily guess from my what's in my bag post that I prefer to travel extra light. I don't mind sacrificing a few comforts, routines, and favorites if that means that I don't have to worry about the weight of my bag, breaking anything, or god forbid, losing anything important.

Only three small pouches and the rest are clothes. Yes I brought my POSH Pocket Shoes! Soo travel-friendly.

This VNC bag is perhaps the most useful thing I ever got from an event. It has divisions, garter holders for brushes, and has this hook so I can hang it. It's also a shoe bag. It's thin and small but very roomy so I prefer to use it for stocking makeup when I'm out of town. Everything is protected and nothing jiggles around while my luggage is in transit. I'm not sure if this is for sale, but if you ever see it, get it asap!

lippies, Stila Illuminating Powder, NARS Super Orgasm, Shiseido Supplist foundation, Revlon Blush & Bronzer, MAC Studiofinish, travel-sized Clinique High Impact Mascara, Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero, Wet n' Wild Icon Eyes palette, In2It brow kit

I'm traveling with my boyfriend who prefers me with minimal makeup on. I don't always agree, but heck, I'm not going to any events while I'm here anyway so what would I do with bright and smokey makeup? Haha. So I just packed products to get that natural face. The Wet n' Wild Icon palette is made of love - it's pigmented and long-lasting! Unbelievable. It can do a brown smokey eye too.

Another favorite is the Revlon Beyond Natural Blush & Bronzer duo. It's not that long-lasting but it's quite pretty on me. I will review both soon! Within the week I hope.

The no-makeup look requires lippies that are close to the natural color of your lips. My current faves for that purpose are (from L-R): Bobbi Brown lipstick in Brownie Pink, Avon Pink Pop, Wet n' Wild Megalast in Bare It All, and (just in case I'm in the mood for a pinker lip) Revlon Creme Gloss in Patent Leather Pink.

Close up

Of course I brought the Charm Pro Travel Brush Set! I love it to bits! It IS made for traveling. Stay tuned for my video review post on this. ;)

As for skincare, I brought very, very little. I just brought the Pond's Cold Cream which serves a dual purpose as makeup remover and moisturizer, travel-sized Pond's White Beauty facial wash, and PH Care feminine wash. Very basic. The shampoos, conditioners, and soaps we just brought in sachets.

And that's it. I should start getting ready for the day ahead. In fact this vacation doesn't really feel like a vacation since I'm still working. But hey! A change of scenery is always nice.

What are your travel must-haves?
