Beauty News: New Tom Ford lippies in the PH, LiLo's comeback, and the solution to better skin

When it comes to resolutions, the one at the top of my list is always to save more money. I want to be more responsible with my finances and make sure that I save as much as I can for the year, and for my future. So when an amazing luxe brand decides to bring in their famous lippies to the PH, well, that resolution goes out the window! Jokes aside, this week’s roundup will have you wishing you didn't make a #nobuy resolution. After all, Tom Ford's limited edition lippies just landed in the PH, Lindsay Lohan’s making her way into our vanities (we don’t know how to feel about this, too), and someone finally made a primer specifically for dark circles! See if you can get through this list without adding anything to your shopping cart.

Boy(s) Meets Girl(s)

Ultra luxurious and highly coveted, Tom Ford Beauty never holds back when it comes to releases and new collections. Their Lips & Boys Collection was a big hit for celebrities and beauty lovers alike, and they recently released a staggering new collection of lippies. What's exciting is that the luxe brand has brought the Boys & Girls Collection of 100 clutch-sized lipsticks to the Philippines! Inspired and named after the people in Tom Ford’s life, the lippies are available in cream, matte, metallic and sheer finishes. The lipsticks are also infused with soja seed extract, Brazilian Murumuru Butter, and Chamomilla flower oil, making them super moisturizing and hydrating on the lips. Each lipstick will retail for P1,960 and will be available this month at Tom Ford Beauty in Rustan’s Makati.

Baby Got Bronze

Let’s face it: when we hear Anastasia Beverly Hills we automatically think brow wiz, contour kit, or glow kit. The well-loved brand has been known to bring their A-game when it comes to fabulous brow products and out-of-this-world highlighters so it’s no surprise that they keep coming out with more kits and more shades for these cult classics. Luckily for us, ABH is also expanding their line and bringing products that we’ve always wanted them to release: their (finally) launching their own line of powder bronzers!

This is going to be the brand’s first venture into the world of bronzers, and based on the shade teasers and posters, we’re living for it. The finely milled powders promise easy blending and a seamless, velvet finish. And did we mention that they'll be available in “a wide range of shades for all skin tones?” Set to launch on the ABH website on February 20 and on Sephora in March, we can’t wait to get our hands on this bronzer!

Keep Your Eyes on the Prime

As much as we’d love to have full “8 hours of sleep” nights, we’re not getting that most days. Binge watching our fave show on Netflix, scrolling through social media, and thinking about the five million things on our to-do lists usually keep us up and feeling sleep-deprived come the 6AM alarm. And as much as we try to cover them bags up with concealer (is there really an anti-crease concealer in this world?), it takes a little bit longer and a little more effort to look more awake in the morning. Lucky for us, BECCA has launched a new collection aptly named BECCA Bright Eyes which has three products that promise to help us achieve that well-rested look.

The star of the collection is also their latest product, the Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Primer ($32) which acts as the last step in your skincare routine. With key ingredients like caffeine (to combat puffiness), matcha green tea, cucumber (to soothe tired eyes), and Coolact, the ice-blue cream easily melts into the skin with a relaxing cooling feel. With no color transfer, this under-eye primer not only brightens your under-eye area but helps your concealer to stay put for longer! Shop the Bright Eyes Collection here.

Livin' La Vida Lohan

Remember when we uncovered Paris Hilton’s secretly good makeup line? Well, it looks like another former Hollywood It Girl is set to launch her own makeup line, too! Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan is not just an actress, model, and club owner, no. She can now add “beauty mogul” to her resume! Although we know little to nothing about her makeup line, the actress did share on the Wendy Williams show that makeup is something she has been interested in venturing into for a while. All we have right now is a sneaky picture of what seems to be two lipsticks, an eyeshadow pigment, and a powder compact. The silver packaging features her “LL” logo on the front. We’ll be sure to keep you girls updated on this story but are you curious to try Lindsay’s makeup line? What are your thoughts on this?
