The Beauty Roundup: Fenty skincare, peel-off eyeliner, and a massive eyeshadow sale
It’s the weekend already? That’s hot. How about we take a trip down memory lane for this week’s roundup? Everyone’s favorite socialite Paris Hilton is back and apparently the Internet is going crazy for her... wait for it... makeup line! Speaking of online buzz, one Korean beauty brand is making waves online with the first ever shade expansion for BB cushions, and RiRi has been extra busy with FENTY! From highlighters to glitter liners, this week is fun, flirty and oh so very “hoooot.”
Expansion Packed Goodness
Despite K-Beauty being such a success in the beauty world, the struggle is real for a lot of our deeper-skinned ladies (and men). The shade range offered by most Korean face bases are very limited and often lean on the fair side of the spectrum. Well, one Korean brand has taken note of just how many people aren’t on the “light side” and have expanded their cushion foundation offerings! Innisfree announced that their Aqua Fit ($12) and Matte Full Cover ($12) cushion bases will now have 14 shades, ranging from fair tones to warm, medium and dark shades, too! This is a big step for the Korean brand and the news has been happily received by AB lovers everywhere. And not to worry - the formula of the cushions will remain the same, with its velvet matte finish, hydrating feel, and SPF 50+ protection. You go, Innisfree!

Keeping Up With RiRi
Big news once again for all you Rihanna fans! Aside from the release of her FENTY Holiday 2017 Collection and the rumor about liquid lipsticks in the works, apparently the award-winning singer and newfound Beauty Babe might just be releasing more things... skincare related things *cue screams* With a storyline very similar to when fans realize that Kylie Jenner may have been developing highlighters via a trademark filing, a fan noticed that on the 15th of September, Rihanna applied for a new trademark for “House of Fenty,” which included "non-medicated skin care preparations, namely, creams, lotions, gels, toners, cleaners and peels, hand lotions, artificial nails, nail polish removers, nail treatment creams, temporary tattoos for use as cosmetics, shower gels, bath gel, [and] perfume"! Although Rihanna has yet to comment (and this trademark is still pending) we are hoping that this means a HUGE expansion for Fenty Beauty some time in the near future. Cheers to you, Rihanna!

Out of This World
Halloween may be just around the corner but a holographic glow is here forever. Whether you’re into glowing like an alien (seriously, who has a naturally blue glow?) or want to spice up your costume makeup, MILK Makeup has released the most outrageously glowy palette. The Holographic Powder Quad Palette ($49) has four pans of extremely pigmented, finely milled highlighting powders that claim to be universally flattering. Whether you fancy a striking cheek glow or gleaming eyelids, the palette is multifunctional and enriched with meteorite powder to give it that extra sparkle power. Far from chunky and patchy, the powders are infused with mango butter, coconut oil, and avocado oil, aiming not just to look good on your skin, but be good for your skin too.

I’ve Got A Peeling
Glitter: gorgeous on the nails and stunning on the face. There’s just something about adding that extra sparkle to your look for a night out or a fun, themed party. But one thing that isn’t so fun: removing it afterwards. Whether it’s on your mani or on your lids, glitter has proven to be one stubborn makeup bit to remove. Luckily for us, Too Faced is at it again with something that we never realized we needed in our lives, until now. The new Glitter Pop! Peel-off Eyeliners ($20) are the newest addition to the brand’s growing collection of product innovations. Set for release on October 2, these liners will come just in time for those who want a sparkly Halloween look. They will also be part of Too Faced’s gigantic Spring 2018 Collection.
Available in eight shades, each tube comes with a “goof-proof” applicator making lining your lids easy and quick. Choose from I’m Half Mermaid (bright blue), Glitter Ghost (white), Kitty Glitter (bright purple), Lucky Bitch (gold), Fairy Queen (lavender), Hey Mr. DJ (black with gold flecks), Yes Way Rose (rose gold), and Super Fun Night (silver). Each eyeliner is super easy to peel-off, promising no need for a makeup remover or heavy scrubbing on your lids! Watch out for them on the Too Faced site and Sephora very soon!

A Secret Line? That’s Hot!
Not going to lie, I’m super happy that Paris Hilton is slowly (but surely) coming back into our lives via hilarious videos and social media tweets. That said, the Internet was in for a big surprise when the socialite and hotel heiress posted a picture on her Instagram account of her and her... makeup line. Yes, Paris has a makeup line!
Paris Hilton Cosmetics actually started two years ago and since then it’s been a “low key” brand, with only a handful of people actually knowing anything about it. From palettes to highlighters, concealers to liquid lipsticks, Paris apparently has a loyal following who swear by her products, claiming that they’re great quality and lovely to use. The reason for the line being so quiet was mainly because the products were sold by third party sellers but based on Paris’s IG post, the brand is looking to expand... and quickly! (watch out Kylie and Kim!) The Paris Hilton Cosmetics website is still in the works but if you want to know more, the brand has it’s own Instagram account. Guess her life isn’t that simple after all. Would you want to try any of the products from Paris’ line?
