Three good reasons to grab the L'Oreal La Palette Nude ASAP

If you're a fan of the elaborately naked makeup look, then the L'Oreal La Palette Nude (P800) needs no explanation. You only need to see it to know that it's something you need in your clutches, if you are to continue acing your no makeup makeup game. Here's why it's such a good buy!

REASON # 1. There are two palettes to suit all tastes and skin tones. Both Beige and Ros feature warm shades so none of them look ashy even on Asian coloring. The palettes have ten colors each, ranging from nude to smoky and a combination of matte and shimmer. You can expect to create countless looks with even just one palette as all the colors work harmoniously together!

Notables are: the #2, 5, 8, and 10 in the Rosé palette and #2, 4, 8, and 9 in the Beige palette. Those particular colors are winners!

REASON #2. L'Oreal did not drop the ball on the pigmentation of these shadows. They are creamy and solid, even without primer! All the shades are in the correct pigmentation level - the blending shades are a bit more sheer so that they can combine everything with ease, the lid shades are perfectly opaque, while the smoky ones diffuse beautifully while being quite pigmented. I would still recommend using a primer if you've got oily lids, of course, but the colors can be used as is.

DIdn't use a primer here! Used the Rose palette in this look. Left is a combination of the lighter shades, while right has the smokier shades.

REASON #3. The La Palette is only P800. What? I know. I also did a double take, since the price sounds a bit steep for a drugstore brand like L'Oreal. But hear me out. The quality of these palettes are certainly comparable to high end brands like MAC, Urban Decay, and heck, even Bobbi Brown. The colors and textures are sophisticated. At MAC, you can't even get a single eyeshadow for just P800! If you ask me the La Palette is a good deal for the quality. Packaging seems sturdy, too.

Basically, L'Oreal took the naked shadow trend and ran away with it shamelessly.

So there you go! Have I convinced you? ^_^
