The Browhaus HD Mascara is awesome and here's why

True story: I went to a beauty event wearing the Browhaus HD Mascara (P998) and magazine editors were like, "What falsies are you wearing? Did you attach the lashes one by one?" I chuckled and told them it's just mascara. Well, not just any mascara, but the best mascara I've tried in recent months.

I love gabbing about makeup but I'm as slow as molasses to catch up on the good stuff. My friend Julia has raved about the Browhaus HD Mascara to me several times in the past year yet I didn't pick up on how good this is...until I finally tried it myself some weeks back. First brush and I go, "THIS IS SO GOOD."

But why? This mascara is almost everything I need a mascara to be. It has a thin texture that doesn't clump easily and gives my lashes incredible length and volume while holding the curl all day. I have worn this for 14 hours straight with absolutely no smudging or smearing. I can cry, play sports, possibly even swim in this, and I know it will stay put.

The only catch is that with the incredible staying power comes the inevitable struggle come removal time. I soak each eye with a bi-phase makeup remover (Bifesta Eye Makeup Remover FYI) for about a minute before the mascara would comfortably come off. I also lose lashes when I'm impatient with the process, so yes, be careful!

I would also advise to wait for each coat to dry first before adding more product. It can get clumpy if you try to build up volume too quickly.

Still, I highly recommend the Browhaus HD Mascara if you want the prettiest and most reliable lashes upon your person. It's pretty expensive for mascara, but I daresay it is the best I currently have in my collection. As you may have heard, Heroine Make has already pulled out from the Philippines so it's a bit hassle to restock their phenomenal Long and Curl. The Maybelline Great Lash Mascara comes close to the Browhaus actually, but it doesn't make lashes quite as long yet dainty. It's also limited edition.

Come check out this mascara at your favorite Browhaus branches in Serendra, Greenbelt, Lucky Chinatown and Mega Fashion Hall. ^_^

Now that we're on topic - what's your HG mascara currently?
