Commenter of the Month January gift

I'm sure some of you have already guessed what I'm giving away to the best commenter this January. It's the complete Charm Vegan Brush Set (P2,500)! I love this set, and I use these brushes on a daily basis. My favorite one is the pointed domed smudger brush - really good for detail eyeshadow work. The concealer and powder brushes are also standouts in this collection.

You can check my full review here, or if you would like to purchase, here's the order link.  ;)

Okay, same mechanics as before! Every month, I'll pick a commenter on my blog. She must be able to leave useful comments, such as sharing feedback about a product I reviewed. It can be a "thank you" comment, or maybe a really good question (I love good questions). A big factor would be the frequency of the reader's comments. Does she always visit? Does she read through the site? At the end of the day though, I always value quality more than quantity. Consistency is key.

Comment away! Am hoping to hear from you. ;) I'll pick the winner by the beginning of February.

PS Kindly note that if you already won CoM already, you can't win again. :) Just giving a chance to others!

Wow! This is awesome! I would really love to get my hands on those brushes. It's just that, it's hard for me to buy this for myself.

Oh my! How I would love to have this! I've just been introduced to makeup and have been devouring everything makeup-related since! I got the Charm Holiday brush set for starters -- the set covers the basics but I never thought I'd be looking forward to expanding the brushes this soon! Heck, two months ago, I wouldn't know a highlighter from a contour powder!:-) My husband would often ask why I need more! He won't get it, is my guess. But really, tools do make a difference! In the future, I would like to invest more on professional-quality brushes (am currently checking reviews for the Sigma Performance eye kit since I now have this obsession with doing eye makeup) but I really appreciate the quality that Charm brushes offer. I'm so happy this was my first.:-) Just sharing. Happy New Year, Liz!:-)

woot!Im dreaming of having it!

January 3, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterOhms

Woah, that's so generous of you ms Liz! I've been wanting to get this exact same Vegan set from Charm. I stare at it every single time I visit the Dolled Up Makeup Studio & Supply here in Cebu since they sell Charm Brushes too. Anyway, since I couldn't afford the whole set right away, I just bought the classic blending brush which sold for only 250 pesos. It is one of those brushes that I can call it multipurpose because I also use it to contour my nose and highlight my under eye with powder. ^_^

Since I've learned about the glamorous world of primping, I find myself enjoying the art of applying makeup. This whimsical fascination of mine started with the basics --face powder, blush-on and lip gloss-- until it burgeoned to the 'semi professional-ish' kit I have at home. However, everytime I do my makeup something always seems to be amiss. It's either I find my eyebrows uneven, my foundation too thick for my liking or my blush-on uncharacteristically askewed on my left cheek. I've always wondered how people on the tutorial videos get things done perfectly. It took me a long time to realize that it wasn't really all about the products that I'm using, it's about the tools that you use to apply the products. Heck! You can have a MAC eyeshadow and all and it still wouldn't have mattered if you don't have the approriate brushes. You might as well have purchased a much cheaper brand and still end up getting the same awkward smear on your eyes. So, after finding out on what went wrong with my feat, I convinced myself to buy a proper brush set. The "Charm Vegan Brush Set" looks so appealing right now and I've been drooling at them after reading your post. It's like a dream come true for all aspiring makeup artists and makeup enthusiasts. BUT, unfortunately I'm not really blessed with much 'cha-ching' so I've been restraining myself from buying it until I have enough money. In the meantime, I want to know which of the brushes above can do the job without having to purchase the whole set. Can you narrow them down to the basic brushes that a beginner can use? Thanks in advance Liz!

OMYGOSH! I want a brush set so bad ahahaha And this "Charm" one, looks so soft and I swear, I probably would feel it much more than use it because I'm one of those people whom, when I see brushes, I would touch them hahaah, same goes for clothes like velvet I love feeling them.. I'm weird, I guess, haha! :D

I kinda regret for not really checking the links you share on your facebook. I liked some of your posts but it never occured to me that Project Vanity is a blog! Sorry! All this time, I thought Project Vanity is some online shop selling cosmetics. Haha! I'm sorry, Ms. Liz! :-) Anyway, I've honestly read some of your posts, especially about BB Creams because Im having a hard time which BB cream to buy and use and with your reviews about it, I think I'll be able to choose now. :-) Plus, Project Vanity is now my favorite go-to blog whenever I have questions and doubts about cosmetics! Thank you, Ms. Liz!! Love, Phoebe :-):-)

That's why I always read blogs of beauty enthusiasts like you.Thank you for sharing your ideas, keep it up,Ma'am!

Hopefully I'll win this time *crossfingers* It'll be my 2nd brush set if ever. Yey! then I will not buy muna I'll be contented with these. I've read a lot of good reviews about it too! ^_^

January 3, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterGen-zel

Wow! This set is in my wishlist for a long time now. I love Charm brushes (I have the Travel kit). They have really good quality and you'd always get what you paid for. Sometimes, one kit can have everything you'll need to finish a look. I would love to have this set.

January 3, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterNikka

Super Like!!!
especially now that I've somewhat understood eye brushes and was planning to really get into them now.
(limiting kasi ang hooded eyelids but I learned a really good trick a few days ago so super go na talaga ang eyeshadow application for me!)

Naku @Beth, good luck to the two of us who's really into winning this! LOL!!!!!!

Happy New Year everyone!
