Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint in Peach

I have a LOT of lip products lined up for review so I'm trying to schedule them apart. Still, expect to see a parade of posts from balms to lipsticks in the next couple of weeks! So! Today I'll talk about a nice everyday lip and cheek tint: the Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint in Peach (P328).

The color in the bottle reminds me so much of the Benefit Cha Cha Tint but don't be fooled - they're two completely different colors. Cherry Peach is a milky peach shade that's flattering on fair to medium tones. It gives just the right touch of color, while keeping lips moisturized and shiny.

What I love about the product

  • It doesn't streak. You get ample time to blend it because the color doesn't sink in immediately, unlike other stains where you only have a few seconds to work the product onto your skin.
  • The color is a nice creamy peach - not overly pigmented but not faint either. You might want to apply a thick layer on your lips to really get the color going. As for cheeks, two thin layers would be the standard.
  • Color is buildable so if you want more intense color, just add layers!

  • It's non-drying. After the color sinks in, you'll notice a sort of balm-like film on your lips to seal the moisture in.
  • Smells like ice candy and isn't bitter.
  • Compact and convenient to carry around for touch ups.
  • Affordable at P328.

What I don't like about the product

  • Staying power is so-so. Two-three hours and it would have faded on oily skin.

Recommendations

How many milky tint products have you heard of? This is a first for me. Usually tints are in red, orange, or pink. The Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint in Peach is a lovely change, just perfect if you love natural-looking but not invisible color on your cheeks and lips!

Verdict

Love it. It's so wearable and convenient to use - dot, blend, and go! Really useful for girls who are always rushing about. ;)

Tried this yet? How did it work for you?

Perfect for a No Makeup Makeup look--just like the last tutorial you posted! :D It looks nice on both the lips and cheek. You mentioned the color is buildable. Does adding more layers have an effect on its texture on your cheeks or lips? Like does it get more sticky as you build up the color? Methinks this will be a perfect base for powdered blushes!

Did EH change the formulation of their Fresh Cherry tints? I have one in the old packaging, yung cylinder-shaped container. That one is drying on my lips! I have to make sure I apply a thick layer of lip balm underneath. Tapos when it's absorbed na saka lang magtitint, and some time after that I have to reapply my lip balm.

The color is amazing! Though I wanted a dupe for the Cha Cha tint but this looks good too. I just hope they made something that will last longer. I hate touch-ups.

The Face Shop has one. It's the Lovely Me:ex Milky Tint, it's my favorite tint. If I'm not mistaken, Tony Moly has one too. I would love to try this though. Thanks for the review! :)

I haven't tried this yet so I couldn't comment more but with tints that stay long go for Mememe! Their Poppy Tint could resemble this.

Oh Liz, I have not visited your blog for so long now because of too much work and Internet restrictions in my office. I have this tint and I'm using it right now but I'm not very happy with the pigmentation, it's too light. Whenever I would wear it, it's not really visible. I don't get the color that I want. When I would, ask for the opinion of my colleagues, they would tell me "may make up ka ba?". It's only after a few minutes of staring at me that they'd figure out I have it. It's pretty nonetheless, I love the light texture and the smell :)
