Elizabeth Arden Prevage Night Anti-aging Restorative Cream

"Proof, not promises," says Elizabeth Arden about their flagship anti-aging cream, the Prevage Night Anti-aging Restorative Cream (~P5,000/ $132). So what is it? Basically, it's a night cream that has a powerful anti-oxidant component to battle fine lines and dullness.

...an intensive overnight moisture cream with advanced Idebenone technology that was specially formulated to work during the night in synch with the skin’s sleep cycle, as it’s the time our skin is most receptive to treatments.

Still unsurpassed as the most powerful antioxidant available today, Idebenone in Prevage helps to address the effects of oxidation, a leading cause of skin aging.  At night, it takes on its restorative role, helping to support its natural cycle of repair and renewal.  This, combined with Mega-Complex A and high performing moisturizers results to a less lined, more even toned, firmer, and more resilient skin over time.

Yes, it's one of those it's-so-expensive-it-better-work products! I'm sad to say that I haven't gotten around to using it, as I've been trying out some new serums these past two months.

What I can say for now is that it has a powerful, medical (derma) scent which gives me the impression that it means business. The scent dies down to something cleaner, more simple. As for the texture, it is initially thick and sticky, but it feels lighter as it is spread around and gets absorbed by the skin.

Oh, the packaging is also super luxe and hygienic. The matte silver jar has a covered top that you press to get the cream out. Ingenious, if you ask me. More brands should do this.

Press the big button in the middle to dispence the product from the sealed notch

And that's it. :) Something to consider if you're looking for your next anti-aging moisturizer, I hope!

Elizabeth Arden Prevage Night Anti-aging Restorative Cream is available in leading department stores and exclusively distributed by Rustan Marketing Corporation.
