Sebamed Everyday Shampoo for Normal to Dry Hair and Scalp

Did you know that what you put in your hair can make you break out? The usual culprits are hair styling products, but shampoos and conditioners can also get to your face and cause pimples or irritation. That's why it's important to pick hair products that work for your skin, not against it.

You already know that I love the Sebamed Face & Body Wash because it's great to use when my skin is being extra sensitive, dry, or just plain breaking out. I recently got hold of its perfect partner, the Sebamed Everyday Shampoo

So what is it? The Sebamed Everyday Shampoo is an extra mild cleansing product for your hair. If your skin is sensitive, irritated, or inflamed, this is a good alternative since it calms the skin down. It doesn't have the "matapang" and "mahapdi" feel that the some drugstore shampoos may have when you're applying them to irritated parts of your scalp.

I also like that it volumizes and smoothens my hair, without causing any hair fall. I love my hair after I use this, swear!

Now, there are downsides. It's soap-free so it doesn't lather much. I end up using a lot of product just to get that illusion that my hair is clean, although I know that products like this can clean without lathering. Call it psychological conditioning on my end, if you will! But yeah I usually wash my hair twice when using this.

The other con is that it gives me a couple of pimples whenever I use it. They never lead to a full-on breakout, mind, but still I wish I don't get the pimples. I'm sure that other skin types will have better luck with this shampoo.

Overall, the Sebamed Everyday Shampoo a great product. Except for the pimples, I love it! Maybe my skin will get used to it in time? I'll try using it more regularly to see because sometimes my skin just needs to get used to a product. Yes, I like it that much to risk it!

Do you think you need this? Have you tried this shampoo before?

You can find the Sebamed Everyday Shampoo only from your dermatologist. Try to request for it. :)
