Editor's Picks: My top ten Holy Grail products from Sephora PH

My home and the Project Vanity HQ is stashed with bins and bins of beauty products. It can be quite a challenge to curate sometimes, but at the end of the day, it's what I pick up the most that makes it to my top ten! Seeing as it's Sephora PH site-wide sale season once more, I thought that I'd list down my HGs from the store. Hopefully this serves as a useful guide as you get your haul at 20% (for Gold and Black Members) and 15% (White) off until May 6. Let's go!

Fresh Umbrian Clay Purifying Mask (P1,464/30ml and P3,660/100ml). THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. This is the best mud mask I have tried! I know that the price sounds steep, but I swear by this stuff! This mud mask is my go-to when my face is acting up. It dries up new pimples faster, exfoliates my blackheads away too, and always leaves my skin so smooth without being dry. This is something I use twice a week, without fail. Definitely buying one when I run out! FYI, a little goes a long way, so it will take a while to finish. I'm only halfway through and I've had it for maybe six months now.

Becca First Light Priming Filter (P2,234/30ml). This is not the most long-wearing primer, nor is it a mattifying primer, but I just love how it instantly brightens my skin with its purplish color-correcting tint and micro-shimmer. It also helps to plump my skin as it contains hyaluronic acid! My makeup always looks amazing when I have it on. It's not a primer for oily girls though I adore it on my combination oily face.

Marc Jacobs Air Blush in Kink & Kisses (P2,620). This is probably my ultimate blush crush. The light rose shade is perfect on my medium warm skin, applies so smoothly, and stays on even after tennis practice. I like that there are two shades so I can create two different colors as my look of the day requires.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter (P2,235/8g). I initially wanted to include the Becca x Chrissy Teigen palette but since that one is limited edition, it is no longer in stock. I love Becca highlighters because they have such gorgeous shades and the finest, finest shimmer. Stays on skin pretty well, too! I don't think I'll ever finish up this compact since a small amount goes a long way.

Hourglass Vanish Seamless Foundation Stick (P2,850). It was between this and the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. Tough choice, I admit, but I'll give the spot to the Vanish stick! This melts like butter on skin and blends like a dream. It has medium to full coverage that never looks like makeup; it just becomes one with my face and stays on all day! This is my go-to if I want to slap on beautiful-looking foundation without the time it really takes on average.

Nudestix Magnetic Matte Eye Color in Chocolate (P1,139). Nudestix is such an underrated brand, IMHO. My unsung hero product last year would have to be their eyeshadow stick in Chocolate. Sure I hate sharpening it, but its creamy, blendable formula that never smudges on my eyes is something I reach for all. The. Time. It just makes chocolate smoky eyes soooo freakin' easy. I've been using this again heavily this summer since I can't be bothered to do the full eyeshadow song-and-dance in this heat! Well, on a normal day if I'm not shooting something.

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette (P1,106). This is still the best bang-for-your-buck midrange palette in my stash. The colors are well-chosen so there are so many different combinations to be had, and the pigmentation is also on point. Everything blends so well together!

Hourglass Arch Sculpting Brow Pencil in Soft Brunette (P2,150). Look, guys, there are good brow pencils, then there is the Hourglass brow pencil. This pencil probably delivers the creamiest yet most natural looking brows, so much that I get a compliment from someone whenever I have it on. Stays forever too! I have to mention that the spoolie is so soft and great for blending.

Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment Lip balm in Rose (P1,387). The tint on this one is barely there but it's the best at keeping my lips flake-free. It applies like butter on the lips but never feels waxy or greasy. I like to keep this on hand whenever I travel since it's so hydrating even in cooler weather!

Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain in 01 Always Red (P779). This is a gorgeous retro red that some say is a dupe of the Fenty Stunna Lip Paint. I love the creamy, non-drying formula of this liquid lipstick and how it applies opaque even without lip liner. If you want a red that doesn't feather or smear around after a meal, this is the one.

And that is that. What are your top picks from Sephora? Did you get anything at the sale? Don't forget that it's only until May 6 so better hurry! I bought the Natasha Denona Tropic Eyeshadow Palette, which I got for P6,220 rather than P7,320. This is the single most expensive eyeshadow palette I ever purchased, but my experience with Natasha Denona eyeshadows is just so, so good and the colors of Tropic is right up my alley. Can't wait to get it here!
