Prada Beauty Opens Its First Flagship Store in the Philippines
The opening of a flagship store is an important milestone for any beauty brand. More than just another retail space, it represents the brand’s identity - its aesthetic, philosophy, and overall vision. Flagship stores are designed to offer a more immersive experience for consumers, allowing them to engage with the brand in a way that goes beyond simply shopping for products. It’s no surprise, then, that there were plenty of cheers when Prada Beauty opened its flagship store at Greenbelt 5 in SM Makati earlier this year.
Prada Beauty first landed in the Philippines in 2025 with a beauty counter at SM Makati. Fast forward to 2026, and the brand has unveiled its flagship store, now open to visitors at Greenbelt 5. The space is instantly recognizable, marked by Prada’s iconic inverted triangle logo and its signature pale pistachio color theme.
Inside, visitors can explore the brand’s extensive fragrance lineup, including the Infusions range, Paradoxe, Paradigme, and the more exclusive Olfactories collection. I honestly couldn’t choose a favorite, but Purple Rain and Cargo de Nuit left a particularly memorable impression on me.
For makeup, you’ll be pleased to know that most of the Prada Beauty lineup is available to swatch and experience in store. You can take your time finding your perfect base match, whether it’s foundation, concealer, or cushion, with the help of the beauty advisors. The lip collection is also on full display, allowing you to explore the different formulas and shades to see what suits you best.

The Prada Light Glowing Powder in 01 Champagne comes in a refillable mirrored compact stamped with the signature Prada triangle. Made pearlescent with Micro-Pixel™ Pearls, this highlighter is surprisingly versatile. Although it comes in powder form, it applies almost like a cream and blends easily on the skin. You can build it up depending on the finish you want. Apply it lightly for a soft sheen or layer it on for a more noticeable pop of highlight. I also like using it on my eyelids for an easy glowing look.
Refillable lip products like Prada’s are a welcome addition to the luxury beauty space. According to the brand, the design can “reduce packaging weight by -76% compared to repurchasing a new lip color,” which makes it a more thoughtful option for those who go through their favorite shades regularly. The sleek silver packaging, finished with the Prada logo, also gives off that chic, minimalist vibe that the brand is known for.
I got to try the Prada Monochrome Soft Matte Lipstick in B101 Tiepolo. The shades in this line are “formulated with a white base and only three pure pigments to recall the luminosity of the Prada Re-Nylon fabric.” The formula is said to last up to six hours and can also be used on the cheeks as a blush.
I’ve been wearing this for the past few days and it does last quite a while without drying out my lips, which is always a plus for matte formulas. Tiepolo is a great MLBB shade that works well on its own, but it also makes a nice base for lip combos. The lipstick tip is also pretty interesting as it mimics the Prada triangle motif, and I find that it actually makes the product easier to apply.

Another refillable product worth mentioning is the Prada Balm Lip Care in U002 Banana Yellow, which became quite popular in 2025 thanks to Prada Makeup Ambassador Sabrina Carpenter. The shade was inspired by “the iconic motif of the Prada Spring / Summer 2011 collection,” and comes with a subtle banana scent along with a warm golden finish.
Despite the bright yellow bullet, it applies as a sheer, glossy balm that gives the lips a soft wash of shine rather than noticeable color. It’s the kind of product you can easily swipe on throughout the day for a bit of hydration and glow, while still enjoying that playful nod to Prada’s fashion archives.
I love the subtle warmth it gives my lips. It also looks great layered on top of another lip color or on the cheeks as an on-the-go highlighter.
