Ever Bilena Soirée Liquid Blush: a very good reason to get back into pink

As an adult woman in her thirties, I have rediscovered my love for pink. Tops, shoes, accessories: suddenly I have to have them in pink. I’m no Elle Woods, but a glittery eyeshadow and a perfectly flushed blush always find a way to lift my mood. And with the popularity of the coquette aesthetic, we now have even more ways to appreciate all things feminine. Ever Bilena’s newest Coquette collection is about romanticizing the little things and enjoying being playful, cute, and confident.

Getting to play around with the 25-piece collection was an inner muse’s dream, and I’m excited to share some swatches and favorites.

Soirée Liquid Blush

The Soirée Liquid Blush (P395/4.5ml) comes with a doe-foot applicator and blends out smooth and dewy. It’s a very beginner-friendly blush: the formula is easy to blend and the pigment is soft, so you can build it up until you get the perfect flush. I needed this on my cheeks immediately and applied it on the spot, while still at the event.

The liquid blush comes in four shades: Cherub, Poet, Sucre, and Whistledown. Cherub is a muted rosy terracotta that went very well with my usual brown and bronzy makeup. Poet is a spiced true pink that is sure to look electric on the skin. For everyday wear I would reach for Sucre, a soft nudish rose. And finally there’s Whistledown, a milky baby pink that looks very sweet and could be used on its own or as a transition blush when building up the cheeks.

The liquid blush is easy to work with and layers well with other cream products. I like to tap it in with my fingers over cream foundation, but it also sits nicely over powder if you dot it on sparingly and blend quickly, since it does set after a minute or so. Once it’s set, you get great wear time. It lasted well through an office day and, when I was out and about, even through a sweaty commute. The color softens a little by the end of the day but never goes patchy, which is more than I can say for a lot of blushes at this price.

At P395, you get a blush that is adorable, functional, and wearable, with performance that holds up against the pricier liquid blushes in my stash. It’s perfect for anyone looking to embrace their soft girl energy, no matter what age.

Treat yourself to an unapologetic pink fantasy with the Ever Bilena Coquette collection, available on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok.
