Laneige Philippines is closing on September 30. Here’s what we know.
If Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Mask has a permanent spot on your bedside table, this news might sting a little. The brand’s official Philippine online store is closing on September 30, 2026, according to a notice posted on August 10. Amorepacific Philippines says the closure is part of its withdrawal of Philippine operations. For those who rely on the official store to restock their favorites, that leaves a very practical question: where do we buy them next? Read the official announcement here.
Laneige has had a few chapters in the local beauty scene already. They’ve changed distributors a couple of times, that we know of, until Amorepacific Philippines stepped into the country sometime before the pandemic. As for where we’ll be buying Laneige next, that remains an open question. Its FAQ says products may continue to be available through authorized retailers and distributors, with further updates to follow. It doesn’t name those sellers or confirm their future availability.
The timing is especially striking because Laneige has been doing well internationally. The brand recorded triple-digit sales growth in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in 2024, according to Amorepacific’s earnings report. Its 2025 results also highlighted strong demand for Laneige’s lip and skincare products in the Americas, while its first-quarter 2026 update reported strong growth for the brand in Japan, Asia-Pacific, and Korea. That makes the Philippine closure all the more frustrating for longtime fans here. We’re watching a brand expand its reach abroad while losing a direct way to shop it locally. Amorepacific hasn’t explained the specific business reasons behind its Philippine withdrawal, so those global successes leave us with even more questions about what happens next for this market.
For anyone thinking of squeezing in one last order, though, there’s a catch. While the original announcement says the store would operate normally until September 30, the brand’s current FAQ says all products are already marked out of stock and unavailable for purchase. The website remains accessible until the closing date for customer information and support.
The loyalty points situation also needs clarification. Laneige lists September 30 as the deadline for redeeming eligible coupons, with unused eligible points and coupons expiring afterward. With purchases currently unavailable, it’s unclear how customers can actually use them. If you have a balance you’ve been saving, we suggest contacting customer service directly. Details are in the closure notice.
For customers with unfinished transactions, these are the details to save:
Existing orders: Laneige says orders will be fulfilled, with a full refund within 60 business days if fulfillment is impossible.
Returns and refunds: Requests may be submitted until September 30, 2026.
Product warranties: Original warranty terms remain applicable after closure.
Customer support: Email quiocson@ph.amorepacific.com or call 0908-814-0150, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. The notice says customer service will remain available for 60 days after September 30.
Accounts will also close automatically on September 30. Laneige says personal data without a legal retention requirement will be securely deleted within 30 days afterward.
We’d love to see clearer information on where Filipino customers can reliably restock their favorites. For now, save your order records and settle any outstanding concerns before the website closes. Until next time, Laneige!
