A Glossy Girl Tries Ever Bilena's Rococo Matte Lipstick
I have four lip products in my purse as we speak, and none of them come close to the price-to-performance ratio that Ever Bilena's Rococo Lipstick has achieved. The matte lipstick from their newest Coquette collection has a formula unlike anything you've tried before, and the adorable packaging sweetens the deal just a little bit more.
As a glossy lip kind of girl, a matte lipstick needs to work double hard for me to fall in love. It has to feel good on and look good hours later, and not a lot of mattes manage both. So, did the Rococo Lipstick sweet talk me and steal my heart? Read on for swatches and my review!
The EB Rococo Lipstick (P345/3.6g) is a creamy matte lipstick that blends out into an almost powdery finish. Ever Bilena recommends dabbing it on instead of swiping, then blending. The creamy formula lets you move the product around without it dragging, so you can build it up for full color or keep it soft and diffused. The lipstick comes in six shades that go from pinks to browns, which gives you an everyday option whether you lean cool or warm.
It's comfortable on the lips and can put up a fight against some light eating and drinking. The one thing holding it back is the chunky packaging. The pink outer case is thick and makes the whole thing quite bulky, which is a shame for a lipstick you'll want to keep in your bag.
For pinks, we have Fleur and Antoinette. Fleur is a soft carnation pink, and I think it's the truest pink shade of the bunch. Antoinette is the ultimate mauvy pink, the kind of shade you can wear any day when you want some color without much fuss.
For reds, we have Chateau and Cherie. Chateau is a chic neutral red, almost a brick red, so it comes across more muted and grown-up than a classic red. Cherie is a fresh raisin red with a little more life to it. For those of you on the hunt for a gorgeous red, I think you could not go wrong giving Cherie a try.

And for brown lip lovers, we have Deco and Nouveau. Deco is a delicate dusty rose that sits on the pinkish side of brown, which makes it an easy one if you're new to browns. Nouveau is a light terracotta brown that brings to mind the early 2000s brown lip, if that's an era you've been missing.
Now, I couldn't help doing a full face of the Coquette collection, and I tried to fully embrace the pink soft girl energy. I used the Lavender Le Petit Palette (P395) on the lids, Cherub liquid blush on the cheeks, and Fleur matte lipstick on the lips. While lavender isn't something I would reach for regularly, the sparkles and glitters in this palette are hard to resist, and a little shimmer on the lids goes a long way for this kind of look. This collection made me feel like a princess and inexplicably happy with my makeup, which doesn't happen every time I sit down to do my face.

The entire collection isn't just extremely girly. It's also functional and wearable, and nothing in it felt like it was there only to look pretty in the packaging. With an approachable price point and products that deliver and perform, there's much to love about the collection.
