Here's one for the lazy makeup girls: The K-Palette Real Lasting Cream Shadow review + swatches

As someone who can pack five eyeshadow colors onto my lids for no other reason than I enjoy it, my eyes can feel a little bare with nothing on them. So even on chill days, I’d have a swipe of mascara, a dash of eyeliner, or - more often than not - a dab of cream eyeshadow. Cream eyeshadow requires much less precision and work to apply compared to other eye makeup! So I would always have something on hand when I need to leave in five.

Recently, I’ve been enjoying the K-Palette Real Lasting Cream Shadow (P695 from beautyboxcorp.com) which features two wearable shades that literally takes 15 seconds to blend on each lid. It comes in a tube with a doe foot applicator for convenience, meaning you don’t need to muck around with brushes (unless you want to of course). I just dab in two or three places on my lids, pat pat pat, repeat until I’m happy with opacity, then go!

This is not 100% opaque in one layer though, I’d say 80%, so you might need to layer a second time if you want a richer color pay-off. I think it’s not necessary for casual eyeshadow users but since I am decidedly not one, I do want that solid color on my lids as opposed to a soft touch of it.

There are two shades: Royal Brown, a nutty bronzy brown, and Rose Beige, a warm champagne. Both are good colors for daily wear - I love to use Royal Brown on the lids for a quick contoured look as it doesn’t get too smoky even when layered, and then Rose Beige on the lower lids or under the brow arch to brighten the area.

Watch my Facebook live video using Royal Beige so you can see exactly what it looks like! Start at 20:40 to see the eyeshadow part!

This K-Palette Cream Shadow is long-wearing. I’ve worn it for at most seven hours, and while it creased a little bit, it mostly stayed on with minimal fading. I don’t wear eyeshadow primer with it anymore. In fact, I use it as primer for other eyeshadows too! Do note I don’t have oily lids so the results may vary for others.

Overall, I love the K-Palette Real Lasting Cream Shadow and would recommend it to those who want to either simplify or have a minimal eyeshadow routine. Let me know what you think, as always!
