Innisfree Green Tea Ceramide Milk: the Newest 3-in-1 Skincare Product in Town
Green Tea is one of Innisfree's signature skincare ingredients. From the wildly popular Green Tea Seed Serum to the Vitamin C Green Tea Enzyme Brightening Pad endorsed by Wonyoung, the brand is always finding new ways to innovate with the ingredient. The latest? They just came out with a 3-in-1 Skincare Product that can boost our routines while simplifying them for the busiest days.
The Innisfree Green Tea Ceramide Milk Barrier Essence (P1,100) is a hydrating essence meant to be used after cleansing and before moisturizing. The product is promoted by the brand to be able to provide "lightweight supercharged hydration in three seconds" and help improve skin barrier in three days. A key ingredient of the product is the Super Green Tea™ that is 5.13x more hydrating compared to Hyaluronic Acid. This is then combined with nine types of Hyaluronic Acid and Green Tea Ceramide to produce Innisfree's Milky Liposome Technology which results in an essence that is lightweight but deeply hydrating at the same time.
When I tried it for the first time, I noted how light and runny the formula is yet somehow still carrying weight. I applied it using my hands as recommended, applying more layers on drier areas as needed. I could feel it sinking into my skin almost immediately and noticed how moisturizing it was on my dry, dehydrated skin. It turned out that this essence is recommended especially for dry to sensitive skin to "deliver toner-light texture with moisturizer-level hydration".
Innisfree claims that the Green Tea Ceramide Milk Barrier Essence works as an all-in-one (Toner + Essence + Lightweight Moisturizer) product. I tried this 3-in-1 scenario for over a week, using just the Milk for both my daytime and nighttime routines. I honestly didn’t expect much since my skin has been feeling drier lately but surprisingly, I can use just the Milk even when I need to put on makeup or sleep with the air conditioner on. I just need to layer the application and I’ll be good to go. This is especially useful for those busy days or when you’re just too tired for a full routine at night. I don’t know how long it can last though so it would still be best to alternate with a full routine from time to time.
Innisfree also recommends pairing this with the new Green Tea Ceramide Cream (P1,300) if you need richer hydration. Both contain the Super Green Tea™ and Green Tea Ceramide so hydration and barrier repair are two benefits shared by these products. Innisfree also shared that the products are so mild that you can even use them on kids.
The Green Tea Ceramide Milk Barrier Essence is available online at Shopee, Lazada, and the Innisfree PH website where you can also check out the Store Locator for offline locations.
