Here are my new favorite bath staples as a curly mom-to-be

One of my favorite parts of the holiday is shopping for presents, and as a PV girl, I love giving gifts of beauty and wellness. Because I’m pregnant, I have to be extra careful of the products I use. I’ve also become extra sensitive to the scent of a lot of commercial brands so I’ve had to make a lot of changes to my routine. Zenutrients was one of the first brands I turned to for their naturally-derived ingredients and non-synthetic fragrances. And it looks like I will be gifting them this Christmas, too!

The brand has come out with sets of their best-selling products, just in time for the holiday season. I got to try the Hair Set and the Baby set, and I’m loving them!

The Baby Set (P550) is a good gift idea not just for those with babies but also for those who prefer gentle products for themselves. It includes 250ml of the Baby Love Top to Toe Wash and 50g of the Baby Love Baby Balm. The wash claims to be gentle for babies’ skin and hair, while the balm hydrates skin, treats rashes, and can even be used as a lip balm.

Both products have a similar scent that is mild and somewhat floral that I find pleasant. The wash cleanses well without making my skin feel dry after. Because it’s a top to toe wash, I also tried it on my hair and found it to be gentle on my strands, too. The balm is made up of nourishing oils, and I find that a small amount goes a long way as a body moisturizer.

The Hair Set (P500) contains 250ml each of the Coco Honey Shampoo and Conditioner. The shampoo is supposed to have a nourishing effect that moisturizes for a deep shine. It smells just like honey and has a thin consistency that doesn’t lather. This is seriously one of the gentlest shampoos I’ve ever tried. I would recommend this for those with dry hair as it really does a great job of helping to keep hair moisturized.

On the other hand, the Coco Honey Conditioner is a smoothening formula that has double the moisturizing properties of the shampoo. It has a menthol scent with a hint of honey - it doesn’t smell as good as the shampoo but it’s okay for my very sensitive nose. I immediately noticed how rich and moisturizing the formula is as soon as I applied it to my hair.

Since both Zenutrients hair products are Curly Girl Method approved, I didn’t rinse the conditioner out after. I also didn’t apply any other hair styling products, but my hair felt amazing! I honestly can’t remember the last time my frizzy, curly hair looked as good as it did without any styling agents. I’ll definitely be carting this set for myself for backups!

Zenutrients also has several other gift sets to suit a range of budgets. You can’t go wrong with the Soap Set (P200) for 100g each of Cucumber Glycerine and Virgin Coconut Oil Opaque soaps. Help your loved ones keep stress away with the Wellness Set (P260) which includes both the All is Well and the Ginger roll oils at 10ml each. The Spahhnitizer Set (P400) is one of my favorite sets because it contains three great smelling hand sanitizers in Fresh Bamboo, Ginger, and Lavender at 50ml each. I love that I can keep my hands clean and enjoy a relaxing spa scent at the same time.

Know someone who deserves some pampering? Treat them to a more luxurious bath experience. The Scrub & Butter Set (P450) includes 100g each of the Green Tea & Olive Scrub and the Green Tea Body Butter. You can also check out the Body Care Set (P480) which includes 250ml each of the Olive Hand & Body Wash and the Olive Lotion.

Bring the spa experience home with the Green Tea Spa Set (P450) which comes with the 250ml Green Tea Single Blend Massage Oil and 100g of Green Tea Soothing Epsom Salt. For those into skincare, a nice gift idea would be the Argan Face Care Set (P650) which includes a 60ml Argan Foaming Facial Wash and the Argan Skin Recovery Cream.

I really enjoyed my new Zenutrients finds and would definitely recommend them, not just as nice Christmas gifts, but as bath staples to enjoy all year round! The prices are great, too, so I can share the gift of wellness without breaking the bank.

Zenutrients is available at select Watsons, SM Beauty, Mercury Drug, and department stores nationwide. Click here for a complete list of store locations. They’re also available online via their official website.

What kinds of gifts are you favorite to give and to receive? Is there a Zenutrients gift set that caught your eye?
