How to get super fast eyebrows on for online meetings

It’s the third week of the quarantine, so we’re all feeling a little (or super!) lazy when it comes to putting any sort of makeup on. If you’re doing a lot of meetings on Zoom or holding parties at Hangouts though, you probably want ~some eyebrows at least! I know I do. I need to feel normal during such abnormal times. Here’s what I like to use when I only want to spend the least amount of time as possible on my arches.

An eyebrow pencil with a spoolie is one of the most convenient inventions of mankind. Seriously. You can get color on, smooth your brows, and blend everything together all in one go. I love the Ellana x Project Vanity Life-Proof Brow Pencil (P599) or course, since it requires barely any effort to put my brows together! I highly recommend Light Brown from this line for that single-color brow perfection. If you don’t have this pencil yet, choose a warm, almost nutty medium brown for a universal shade.

Eyebrow mascara is a secret weapon if you know how to wield it. I used to find eyebrow mascaras fussy and hard to use just by themselves. I would do a pencil first then add mascara to set it, but when I don’t have time I just completely pass over the product. But a couple years ago I finally found out how to use brow mascara properly. The trick is simple: instead of brushing the product gingerly ON the hair, you have to actually press the wand onto the skin to get a good shade. Make sure the wand is not gloopy with product, so wipe it first, and you’re golden. This takes all of 30 seconds for me - after some practice, of course!

Try the Issy & Co. Brow Refiner (P349). Aside from the color product, it also has castor oil on the other hand to nourish your brows when you’re not wearing makeup.

Try an eyebrow stain if you’re mega, mega lazy. An eyebrow stain practically dyes your skin so you get brows for days! This product used to be something that needed “curing” after you put a thick, peel-able layer on the brows. It usually needed a few hours or even overnight to deliver a great stain. But K-Palette released a fantastic formula late last year. It comes with a normal eyebrow pen applicator, so you apply it as usual, then it just stains. Easy. Read this review of the K-Palette Eyebrow Tint Pen (P845) to believe it!

Hope this helps, and remember - stay home to stay safe. <3
