Lip-Saver in a Click Tube: My EB Glazed Lip Booster Review

Product photography by Perkin Gotohio

It’s taking me longer and longer to review products these days. I just want to make sure that, when I finally put something out there, it’s something I truly believe in. That means testing it in different conditions, wearing it in various weather (if I can), and really paying attention to how it performs over time. One of the products I’ve been using for a while now is the EB Plus Glazed Lip Booster (P325 / 2g). I even brought it with me on trips to Dubai and Osaka to see how it would hold up in both dry and cool climates. I’m happy to report that it did really well!

For context, I’ve been dealing with insanely dry lips for the past four months because of isotretinoin. It’s been a whole new level of dryness for me, as in my lips literally crack when I smile if I forget to apply balm regularly. So these days, I mostly rely on hydrating lip products. Anything else is just too much. That’s why I feel confident saying that the Glazed Lip Booster really helps keep the chapping in check.

The formula has a buttery, smooth texture, but not so slippery that it feels like it’s going to slide off or bleed outside the lip line. It sits comfortably and gives the lips that lush, juicy look. Pigmentation is solid too as it’s almost opaque, but with just a touch of sheerness so it still feels like a balm rather than a full-on lipstick. You can definitely wear it sheer by applying just a dab or blotting with tissue.

Staying power is decent at around three hours, which is fair for a balm-based product. There’s also a slight tint left behind, which I personally like. It gives that effortless, just-bitten look. A quick heads-up though: it has a strong minty feel. I love the freshness it gives, but I know some people might find it a bit much, especially if they’re sensitive to tingling.

Left to right: Iced Berry, Berry Kiss, Apple Frost, Cherry Top, Maple Drop, Hi Homer

There are six shades in the range:

  • Hi Homer – hot pink

  • Cherry Top – hot red

  • Apple Frost – brick red

  • Iced Berry – reddish brown

  • Maple Drop – neutral orange

  • Berry Kiss – wine red

My favorite shades are Iced Berry and Berry Kiss. They’re flattering, easy-to-wear colors that work beautifully for everyday. I especially like how they leave a soft stain after the gloss fades. It’s very low-maintenance, which is always a plus. Important note: this is a melted balm that uses a click-up dispenser, so make sure to only click the amount you need. Once the product is out, it won’t go back in!

Overall, I really like the EB Plus Glazed Lip Booster and will definitely be finishing up my favorite shades. It’s a solid moisturizing formula that delivers rich color at a great price point. No surprises there, EB always knows how to balance quality and affordability. Totally worth trying (and maybe even collecting, if you’re into glossy lips like I am!).
