Colourette Jelly Kiss Review: The Tint That Gets Glossier Over Time

Colourette Cosmetics just had their very first pop-up for the launch of their newest product the Jelly Kiss Lip Tint (P399/4g). Taking over Auro Chocolate Café in BGC, the place was transformed into the juiciest place to be this summer. Their first pop-up featured fantastic music, delicious drinks, and fun activities for the Colourette community.

The Jelly Kiss Lip Tint isn’t just another lip tint or stain littering the local shelves. Colourette CEO Nina Ellaine Dizon really wanted it to stand out from the crowd, so she and her team tested dozens of tints to find the hole in the market. With a unique formula crafted for a unique audience, this product delivers a long-lasting glossy lip stain specifically designed with Filipino lips and two-toned lips in mind. Unlike most stains, Jelly Kiss offers higher coverage and features a gloss-strengthening technology that actually gets glossier 60 to 100 seconds after application.

The Jelly Kiss Lip Tint comes in eight juicy shades that promise to be your lips—but jellier. If you love a playful pink, check out Squish, Melty, and Juju. Red lip aficionados will want to swatch Sizzle and Fling, while those into browns and neutrals can reach for Zing, Pebble, or Cider. Beyond the pretty shades, this tint is packed with nourishing ingredients like summer grass mushroom, black truffle, and snow mushroom extracts to deeply hydrate. It also has hyaluronic acid to help plump and soften your pout.

Colourette’s first-ever pop-up may have come and gone quickly, with slots filling up within the first hour of sign-ups, but it won’t be the last. If you missed out this time, there’s no need to worry—more chances are coming. True to form, Colourette continues to center its community in everything it does, from product development to how it connects with fans. Just like their Model Go See events, the pop-up was another way for the brand to bring real people, real stories, and real beauty into the spotlight.

My Review

I’m a sucker for a glossy lip, whether it’s a balm, oil, or gloss, I’ll take a hydrating, juicy formula any day. So when I heard about a new glossy lip stain launch, I couldn’t wait to try it out. And the fact that it actually gets glossier after application? Consider my curiosity officially piqued.

Naturally, I gravitated toward the reds. Fling, a bright strawberry, and Sizzle, a soft watermelon, both caught my eye. I ended up going with Sizzle as purple-leaning reds tend to flatter me more than straight reds.

Like many Filipinos, I have two-toned lips with one lip is noticeably darker than the other. This can be tricky when you’re aiming for an even lip color or hoping a product matches the swatch. What impressed me about the Jelly Kiss Lip Tint is its higher coverage compared to other tints and stains. It completely evened out my lip tone, no layering needed. The formula also felt incredibly nourishing, leaving my lips softer and more hydrated even after I washed it off. Jelly Kiss has definitely earned a spot in my everyday purse lineup, right alongside my favorite lip oils and balms. It’s definitely worth trying out!
