The Beauty Roundup: The Marvel superhero makeup line, a new brow line, and what's a Wowder?

Quick question: what do you get when you cross a haute couture fashion house with one of the biggest makeup shops in the world? The answer: a giant golden teddy bear! I know, it sounds completely random, because, well, it is. This week, we finally found the solution to our underwear shopping woes and with one quick click and how Kat Von D is teasing us (and our brows) to no end. Ready for a quick read? It’s a doozy!

Let’s Get Intimate

There’s no way to sugar coat this - underwear shopping is a daunting task for many and a challenging ordeal for most. It’s difficult to hop from one shop to another, trying to figure out your perfect size, the right cut, the ideal fabric, and whatnot. What if we told you that Avon has found a way to make shopping for delicates quick, easy, and even fun? The Avon Panty Store is every woman’s one-stop shop for all the intimates you will ever need!

Girls who want both comfort and style will love the Clara 3-in-1 100% Cotton Panty Pack (P450) while those who prefer hip huggers with no VPLs (visible panty lines) can opt for the Emily 2-in-1 Midi Panty Pack (P345). There's also the Larina 5-in-1 Midi Panty Pack (P575) for a fun mix of plains and prints. It's oh-so-easy to stock up on these staples with just a click of a button, plus the prices are super reasonable, too! Visit the Avon website to shop your perfect undies!

Your Lips But Better Balm

The “No Make” makeup and YLBB pout are two beauty looks that we just can’t get enough of. There’s just something about looking glowy, youthful, and fresh, with our makeup seemingly undetectable. Which brings us to BECCA’s latest development: the Lush Lip Colour Balm ($22). Available in 8 shades ranging from nudes to a deep dark maroon, these satin lip balms are infused with jojoba oil to help hydrate dry lips. We’re loving Almond Fraise (dusty rose), Ginger Vanille (coral), and Café Au Lait (beige)! The color is of course buildable, from a one swipe shine to a deeper color payoff once piled on. Shop the new color balms on the BECCA Cosmetics website.

Wowder No More

Okay, maybe it’s a little too early to be super confident but ever since YouTube makeup guru Jackie Aina teased about a new powder that she was “testing” out, the entire internet has been abuzz about this mystery product. Dubbed as Wowder, it seems to be a weightless powder with zero white chalkiness that promises to give a smooth, real-skin finish even under bright flash. Dropping on August 1, the powder will come in 3 adaptable shades to suit every skin tone. Many believe that this is a product of Glossier (and we think so, too) but until the big reveal, you can stalk for clues on the teaser site and let us know what you think. Is this Glossier’s newest baby? And what could it possibly be used for?

Marvel-ous Makeup Indeed

It amazing how Korean beauty brands figure out new ways to spice up makeup collections, including collaborating with big movies and TV shows. It makes our vanities and makeup kits look that much cuter tbh. Cut to The Face Shop coming out with another epic treat following their gigantic Disney release: the Marvel Superhero Collection! Inspired by the Avengers characters, the collection will feature eye shadows, palettes, lipsticks, mascaras, nail polishes, cushion foundations, liners, and even face sprays. It's a HUGE release, and there will even be skincare for men in superhero packaging! This just might be the thing to convince the men in our lives to finally slap on some moisturizer!
