Beauty Roundup: GRWM Milkshake Collection. Issy Lip Bait, Estée Lauder Double Wear Reformulation, and Sephora x Olive Young

Things are shaking up in the beauty world! This week’s Beauty News Roundup contains unexpected new local releases and global stories. Homegrown GRWM Cosmetics literally shakes things up with their newest addition of shades to their Mini Milk Tints: the Milkshake Collection. Issy redefines how lip liners are used with their newest release, the Lip Bait. Estée Lauder announces that they have updated the formula for their bestselling foundation, the Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup. And last but most definitely not the least, Sephora partners with K-Beauty giant Olive Young. These were definitely not in my January 2026 bingo card!

GRWM Mini Milk Tint Milkshake Collection

Who doesn’t love a mini lip and cheek tint? And who doesn’t like milkshakes? Combine the two and you get an irresistible concoction: the GRWM Cosmetics Mini Milk Tint Milkshake Collection. The original GRWM Milk Tint (P379) has been around for a while, and has become one of the brand’s most in-demand products. Understandably so, as its beautiful shades come with a blendable skin-caring formula that works for lips, cheeks, and lids. And then, the GRWM Milk Tint Mini (P249) arrived.

A total of five (5) Milk Tint shades were released as Minis: Soufflé (medium warm bright pink), Pablo’s Latte (medium neutral pink), Cotton Candy (light neutral muted pink), Meringue (light neutral nude peach), and Buttercream (medium warm rose).

They weren’t playing around with the addition of the Milkshake Collection. There are a total of twelve (12) new shades available: Creamsicle (light warm muted pink), Jelly Bean (medium warm dusty peach), Juju (light cream milky peach), Muffin (medium neutral dusty mauve pink), Bubble Tea (medium neutral dusty peach), Strawberry Milk (light warm coral pink), Petite (medium warm rosy pink), Beau (light cool milky pink), Blush Berry (medium cool dusty rose), Gummy Bear (light cool lilac pink), Parfait (light neutral nude pink) and the limited-edition Purple Yam (medium neutral lilac).

Confused about which shade to get? The image above breaks down the shades by tone. Check out the GRWM Mini Milk Tint Milkshake Collection now, in-store and online! Save on bundles and ongoing promos until early February. You are most welcome!

Issy Cosmetics Lip Bait

Once again, Issy Cosmetics redefines beauty and makes it easy for everyone. Meet the Lip Bait (P399) a new generation of lip liners described as an “Overlining + Smudging Lip Pencil.” At first glance, it looks like any other twist-up lip liner with a handy built-in brush on the other end. But a closer look shows how one product can be used in different ways, as the different shades are categorized by group.

First up, we have the Shader: your classic lip liner that can be used to both outline and fill the lips. There are ten (10) shades in this group: Bare (rosy beige), Salty (cool nude mauve), Bebe (nude peach), *69 (warm beige), Good Girl (neutral pink), Bonbon (warm rose), Kitten (cool pink), Flirt (spiced nude), Cardinal (blue-tinged red), and Break (deep merlot).

Up next, we have the Definer: a deep-toned shade you can use to create shadow and sculpt a fuller look! There are two (2) shades available: Trace (gray taupe-brown) and Low-key (dark chocolate). Tip: choose a shade darker than your natural lips! I can totally see this pairing well with a good lip gloss for the ultimate 90’s model cool girl look.

Up next is the Lifter, which is infused with pearl to create natural-looking highlights for your lips. There are two (2) shades available: Frost (icy pink shimmer) and Pearl (champagne sheen). Yes, you don’t have to use your eyeshadow or highlighter for your lips anymore!

We’ve come to the final Lip Bait category: the Plumper. It comes in the shade Hot which is actually colorless “clear heat.” Finally, a clear lip liner that works with your entire lip collection! Bonus: it has a mild plumping effect.

No matter how you plan to use your new lip liner, Issy Lip Bait has gotchu. Check them out in-store and online. They have pre-curated bundles, matching the ideal Lip Bait with a Fat Gloss, Mousse, Gelee, or Lip Bullet. Enjoy a P100 discount when you purchase any two Lip Bait lip liners, for a limited time only. Go!

Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup - Updated Formula

This foundation does not need an introduction. So popular in beauty communities, you only need to type four letters to identify it: ELDW. Undoubtedly, the Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup has earned legendary status, and a guaranteed place in many a beauty vanity and pro makeup kit.

Recently, Estée Lauder has announced that it has updated the formula for this beloved foundation. Apparently, one of the ingredients in the original formula is set to be banned due to European Union (EU) regulations next year. Fans of the OG formula were understandably worried if the new one will perform like the HG foundation they love. Estée Lauder is quick to assure the public that the new formula is an improved version with a more breathable yet buildable formula that is less drying on the skin. There will also be new shades to be released for their signature “true-to-skin match.”

Personally, this is one of my go-to foundations for events and special occasions. I do hope that the new formula truly is less drying on the skin. I will definitely check out the reformulated version first before making up my mind about it. Hopefully they will have samples available in-store!

Sephora x Olive Young

Yes, you read that right! This was a partnership I didn’t see coming but am totally here for. In an article released January 20th, 2026 at the Sephora Newsroom website, Sephora has formally announced an official partnership with Korean beauty retailer Olive Young. The partnership is set to begin in the third quarter of 2026 as a “visionary omnichannel partnership” in Sephora retail operations in the United States, Canada, Hong Kong SAR and Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand), with plans to expand into other regions like the Middle East, United Kingdom, and Australia in the following year.

How will it work? There will be a dedicated K-beauty zone in Sephora stores (physical and online), with Olive Young curating brands and products. Customers will get access to the most popular, best-selling Korean skin care and makeup items, as well trendy new releases. This is definitely exciting news, acknowledging that Korean cosmetics is not only a player in the global stage, but is a leader capable of making waves and creating trends.

And that’s it for this week’s Beauty News Roundup! I hope you enjoyed reading about all the latest in beauty. See you on the next edition!
