Three colognes to try

Do you wear colognes? I rarely do these days because I prefer eau de toilettes due to the better staying power and more complex selections available. Nonetheless, I still appreciate a nice cologne especially if it's affordable. They're perfect for young women who want to smell fresh and pretty without spending a lot of money for a bottle! Colognes don't last very long since they are alcohol-based, but you can just chuck them in your bag and spray as much and as often as you need to.

I recently came across three colognes that I think you (or your younger niece and cousin) would enjoy. ^_^ I love how effervescent, sweet, and young these scents are. They're just perfect for tweens in elementary and high school, teens in college, and working girls just starting out in their careers. Check 'em out!

Pure n Fresh is known best for personal hygiene products, but a couple of months ago the brand ventured into scents for tweens. Tropical Splash, Blush Berry, and Tangerine Delight are bright colognes that feature luscious fruity combinations. Tangerine Delight is citrusy with mandarin, orange, and apple notes; Blush Berry is sweet with strawberry, pear, and apple blossom; while Tropical Splash is soft and creamy with apricot and peach.

Get it for your little girls-going-on-tween. They are very affordable at only P40 for a 55ml bottle, so you can have your daughter or niece wear it everyday!

And here is my favorite out of this bunch. ;) The Avon Kate's World Body Spritz (P350) looks like your typical cologne, but I find it quite complex and interesting. Both scents are powdery, with layers of fruity, floral, and dare I say vanilla notes in it. I love these! I would be using them, not just as cologne but as a room spray as well. ;)

This is perfect for girls in college who want something more grown-up than Pure n Fresh. But really, packaging aside, I think all ages would appreciate this! I checked the current brochure but it doesn't seem to be available at the moment. Just ask your Avon lady if she has it.

Last but not least, check out the United Colors of Benetton Refreshing Body Mist (P499). UCB is famous for its fresh EDTS, so how do the body mists compare? The same sophistication is present in the mists, but of course the formula doesn't linger on skin as long as the EDTs.

Appealing Lily and Cheering Rose are all about flowers with a musky base. It's the most mature out of the three colognes I featured here, something I would recommend for girls who just got a new job and need a work-appropriate scent. They can smell a bit heavy so make sure to use them sparely. :) I believe they are available in department stores!

So there you go. Which one do you like best? What's your current cologne?
