Great find: Liberté in Robinsons Department Stores

I have already mentioned a recent awesome discovery called Liberté. It's an in-house brand that can be found in Robinsons Department Stores. It sells modern, trendy basics as well as pieces with an unexpected, beautiful twist. The clothes are meant for yuppie corporate wear but I do believe that everyone who likes elegant clothes without breaking the bank will love this brand! Nothing is above P600!

Now I know that "trendy basics" sounds a bit like an oxymoron, so let me explain. Liberte takes basics, mashes them with the trending cut and fabric, and comes up with something infinitely wearable yet far from boring.

I guess I better just show you.

This is my favorite find from the brand. It's a dirty-white dress that's done in a sort of cotton-chiffon blend. It has this sexy triangle cut-out back that I sadly forgot to take a picture of! This dress is only P600 if I remember right.

What I like most about this flowy jersey shirt is the buttoned back. It also has an interesting boxy shape that makes it a great match with skirts and slim pants. It's just P350!

This pair of cropped trousers look great with polos and blazers. It has a nice preppy feel when worn with knits and loafers! Only P500.

Since that fateful shopping day at Rob, I managed to contact Liberté's fashion merchandiser, Chrissie. I was amazed by the selection in the store (I wanted to buy everything) so I asked her what her fashion inspirations were.

She said, "When buying, I just make use of fashion forecasts as my guide then I develop my collections based on them. We release one collection per month. For the last four months of the year, our collections are Military, Aviator, Chic Jetsetter, and Old Hollywood.

For the first quarter of next year, our collections are Vintage Romance (60’s); Modern Bohemian (70’s) and Summer of 1950’s (aka Katy Perry style)."

How cool is that? The new collections for next year are definitely something to look forward to! I will definitely go out of my way to buy Liberté. ;) And I'm just not saying that.
