Pre-Christmas Sale at Robinsons Department Store

When I was younger, Christmas meant new clothes. That's not to say we don't buy any clothes before the holidays - it's just that my mom would always get me a new outfit for my school Christmas party (which my adolescent self was totes excited about) so that shopping trip is something I looked forward to every year.

Anyway, if you're looking for something to wear to the string of Christmas parties you're probably going to, or if you need a gift that looks more expensive than it isn't, I'd like to invite you to visit Robinsons Department Stores, particularly the Midtown branch. They're on a 50-70% off sale! Well, not everything is on sale, but you're bound to find good stuff there at great prices. Seriously, the stuff there are so affordable, especially the ones from the in-house brands!

Allow me to take you to a virtual tour of the department store in Ermita (my favorite Rob branch) and share my top finds.

Never Been Kissed is a brand for fashion-forward teens. It's got the latest stuff and at great prices too. That sheer knit top you see on the right? That's only P330. Most of the stuff here are under P500. The brand has nice skirts and tights; I bought a denim tulip skirt from here before for only P250.

Cute white cabaret dress

Fab has a more daring quality to the trendy clothes. It's a bit on the tweetums side, but I find the clothes still pretty!

Neon bodycons

Next stop, Liberte! I love this brand! It is exactly my style: neutrals, soft fabrics, with a huge emphasis on form and cut. I didn't notice this last time I was here, but gosh, I want everything. The brand aims to offer trendy office wear for the yuppie, but I think it's more than that - I will call it understated elegance. It has basics in the right fit, plus gorgeous dresses that are perfect for meetings to parties! I like that most of the items are in the P300- P600 price range. If I can stuff my closet with one brand, this would be it.

However, if you like prints and the avant garde, Liberte probably won't have what you're looking for. Ah, I wish I took more photos since the Liberte area is quite big. I'll show you what I got in another post.

Pretty dress for P200

Pink Lemonade is a go-to for cocktail dresses and casual florals

70% off!

Julia is another brand that I like. It offers office wear, but for a slightly more mature audience. The clothes are designed to go from day to night with the right combination of shoes and accessories. Price ranges from P500 to P1,500.

Lace-patterned skirt

Sale!

Lovely cream dress

Another brand I really liked was Pink Manila. Edgy trendy clothes for under P1,000? Count me in.

Cheetah-print cover-up

Cute statement tees from Whatever! Most of them were only around P200. Great stocking stuffers for nieces! ;) They also have pajama sets.

Popstar is a lot like Fab, but for a slightly more mature market. I'd say for college kids where Fab is for highschoolers. Everything was also less than P700. I love the sale rack! The clothes were going for only P200-P300. Such a steal. All the pics of clothes under here and 50% off.

White dress with statement necklace for P300

Sooo cute! Also on sale.

Yay! Oh, this bears mentioning - Triumph is on a huuuge sale. Sadly, I didn't have the time to check it out. Here's the scene:

You should also drop by the shoe section because so many nice shoes are discounted.

Whew! Thanks for taking this virtual trip with me. Don't forget, the pre-Christmas sale at Robinsons Department Stores is from November 26 (that's yesterday) to November 30. Time to beat the Christmas rush!

POC lunch? Haha. Thanks Carissa for accommodating us!
