My all-time top seven favorite Revlon lipsticks

This story is brought to you by Revlon.

Revlon lipsticks have been around since the 1940s and have played a role in the history of cosmetics ever since. This isn’t a brand that likes to rest on its laurels, however, and so they’ve come up with tons of unique formulas and shades in the past 80 years. I’ve tried quite a few of them myself, which is why today I am sharing some of my top picks - these are the exact Revlon lipsticks I currently love to use!

Revlon Matte Lipstick in Dare To Be Nude (P350). This is a beautiful peachy nude that has the perfect amount of warmth not to wash me out. I love that even though it’s a nude, it seems to brighten my skin instead of creating that greyish cast. The formula itself glides like butter and doesn’t have that cement-like feel!

Revlon Matte Lipstick in Rise Up Rose (P350). If you’re looking for the ideal my lips-but-better shade that isn’t too pink or too brown, this rosy sugary shade has your name on it! Love that it’s opaque in one coat. You’ll need to retouch with this formula but at P350 it makes for a great workhorse lipstick.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pure Red (P350). This one was part of the Color Charge collection so I’m not sure yet if it’s permanent, but Revlon makes reds like this often as it is a signature shade for the brand. Indeed, Pure Red is all bravery and bombast in its fiery color. It’s a true red that should flatter all skin tones!

Revlon Kiss Plumping Creme in Spiced Berry (P375). I swatched the entire line last year and loved it! It’s not really a stain, not quite a gloss - this is more like a balm first and a gloss second. It’s a great product for days when I just want a no makeup look while keeping my lips happy and hydrated. I love Spiced Berry the most out of all the shades since it’s almost exactly the natural color of my lips.

Revlon Cushion Lip Tint in Extra Violet (P575). Lip tints are a dime a dozen these days, but I find Revlon’s to be one of my favorites because it’s actually hydrating, the color applies evenly on both the top and bottom lip, and truly tints at the same time. My favorite shade from the entire line is Extra Violet because it gives my lips that beautiful wine-y stain.

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Mousse in Spiced and 100 Degrees (P575). This has got to be Revlon’s most innovative lip formula yet - this is a whipped velvet matte lipstick that hugs the lips like a glove! I love Spiced for that pillowy warm brown color that’s very much on trend right now, and 100 Degrees which is a bright pinkish red that flatters my skin (and teeth) so well. Both are long-wearing and comfortable, so get this if retouching is not your jam.

Love any of these? Right now Revlon has a promo for Lipstick Month - just get three lipsticks of the same variant and get a massive discount (see below)! This is only available in their counters nationwide and until the end of August. Don’t miss it!
