Store Tour: The new Scribe wants to make you more creative & productive

There are a few stops that I must visit with every trip to the mall. First, my usual beauty haunts – Beauty Bar, Rustan’s The Beauty Source, and SM Beauty. Second, whichever food place tickles my fancy because you need the energy to walk around and window shop. And third, Scribe Writing Essentials, which is now known as simply as Scribe.

Now while we love all things beauty here at Project Vanity, we're also about encouraging our readers to go for your dreams! Scribe’s story follows that same inspiring tale with how boss babe Marian Ong turned her love for writing and novelty gift items such as wax sealing sets into a successful brand with seven retail stores featuring over 80 brands. Whatever your gifting needs may be, Scribe caters to all personalities and aims to reintroduce the love of writing with pen and paper.

The new Scribe interiors in the Glorietta 4 store is modern, straightforward, and oh-so-chic! The warm colors are inviting, and the wide corridors provide for a more comfortable interaction with all the products. The displays bring out the best in the products and you can spend a lot of time here without even realizing it. I actually spent around two hours choosing products for my haul because I just couldn’t decide; there were so many wishlist-worthy items!

If you’re into scrapbooking and drawing, Scribe has FineTec and Sakura watercolor sets, Mark’s Inc. Instax items, and a wide selection of pencils.

Fountain pens, inks, calligraphy sets, and popular brands such as Nahe and Tools to Live By are also available.

Scribe is also the exclusive retailer in the Philippines for Japanese brands such as Midori, Hobonichi, and Traveler’s Notebook. These are notebooks and planners that can help you stay focused by increasing your productivity with all the organizational options to choose from.

From left: Traveler’s Notebook Regular Size (P2,195), Traveler’s Notebook Passport Size (P1,995), Platinum Plaisir Fountain Pen in Gunmetal (P695), Hightide 30 mins. Sandglass (P1,125)

I had to include the Traveler’s Notebook in the Passport Size to my haul as we only have the Regular Traveler’s Notebooks in our stash. It's cute and the size is perfect for documenting my makeup collection with a handy catalog. Note that it can also be used a makeshift wallet, a portable watercolor pad, a journal, or a planner depending on how you customize it!

Various refills are available for the Traveler’s Notebook system such as this Grid Passport Refill (P135) and Free Diary Monthly (P225). You can also browse and shop most of Scribe’s products over at http://www.scribewritingessentials.com.

For more Scribe products, visit their stores at the following locations: Eastwood Mall, Shangri-La, Glorietta 4, SM Aura Premier, SM Megamall, SM Cebu, Ayala Mall Cebu. Follow their journey online via Facebook and Instagram. Use #GiftMyScribe, #IWriteWithScribe, and #ShopAtScribe to stay updated.

Are you into keeping journals, scrapbooking, making art, or collecting pretty pens? What would you want to haul from Scribe?
