Staying at home all day doesn’t mean that we should stop looking pretty. In fact there are more meetings now than before (how is that even possible?) so there’s a constant need to look presentable on a webcam! If you’re looking to do a complete look without spending a lot on extra products, allow me to present a solution that’s multifunctional and affordable.

The L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature Baked Nudes (P399 on Lazada and Shopee ) is a richly pigmented watery tint that diffuses beautifully and evenly on the skin. It’s designed to be multifunctional and can be used on the eyes, lips, and cheeks! I love that it blends so easily and doesn’t leave that dreaded streak; it coats the lips nicely, and gives enough time for blending as a blush or as an eye color.

The texture is a lightweight formula. A small amount goes a long way here - it’s quite pigmented - and I can’t emphasize enough how beautifully this diffuses onto the skin with just the fingers and barely any effort. It dries with no tackiness on skin so you can wear a mask over it without any waxy or oily emollients staining your protection. It doesn’t dry up my lips although I would recommend a lip balm on top of the stain if you need more moisture for dry or chapped lips.

The packaging is beautiful. It comes in a matte frosted tube with a gold accent highlighting the logo - so beautiful on a dresser! The applicator is a winner here too. It’s leaf-shaped with ridges, ensuring that you apply the right amount of product (no gloopiness) on your lips every time.

There are nine shades available, all designed to warm up the skin. They have a bit of a shine when freshly applied, but become a comfortable lightweight matte when dry. All shades would look flattering on Filipina skin as you can see on our beautiful model Angel who has a deep warm skin tone. On medium skin, the shades still look fantastic; since the colors are translucent and designed to be layered, they take on the natural base hue of your skin.

If you want that nude effect, a single layer on the lips, eyes, and cheeks is enough to create a beautiful monochromatic look. It would look fantastic on camera! If you want a more intense effect, you can layer on the lips twice to get full opacity, which is what we did on Angel. You can try out the drunk blush look, mix different colors, or even create a blurred lip effect by diffusing the tint around the edges of the lips.

Staying power for me is average, about 2-3 hours after eating and drinking. The color won’t transfer on surfaces too much once set, which makes it an ideal formula to wear under a mask.

The new L’Oréal Paris Rouge Signature Baked Nudes is available for only Php 399.00 on both Lazada and Shopee! And here’s a deal: L’Oreal Paris is offering sweet 8.8 treats – including a bundle of three lip tints for only P999! Add this along with all your favorite L’Oreal Paris products to cart and set your alarms for 12AM on August 8.
