Beauty Roundup: A new Filipino skincare brand and a new matte lip product from Estée Lauder!

How’s your December going, PV Community? It’s the last month of the year and I know what you’re thinking - where did the year go? Time really flies, which is why we must make the most out of our days. Remember, how you choose to spend them is completely up to you and valid. Okay, before I go all sentimental, it’s time for this week’s beauty roundup!

The right Habitude

There’s a new local skincare brand on the market, and it welcomes you at the beauty table and celebrates your habits and attitudes. Championing Philippine botanicals, Habitude marked its launch with the release of three clean and natural products - the Hardworking Miracle Water (P849), Seriously Revitalizing Serum (P949), and Go-Getter Moisture + Sun Stick (P550). What an exciting and promising local skincare brand! Oh, did I mention that the products are housed in recyclable materials?

Skincare for cool folks

Issy & Co. has ventured into skincare! In celebration of their second year, this local brand we love has introduced two skincare products - the Booster Serum (P599) and Cleansing Butter (P549). The Booster Serum comes in four variants - Multi Nourishing Drops, Sebum Balancing Drops, Refining & Clarifying Drops, and Hydrating & Soothing Drops, while the Cleansing Butter has two variants - Nourishing Melt and Calming Melt. Talk about Skin Made Issy, right?

A pen for your acne

Yes, you read that right! Oxecure recently released it’s first LED gadget called the Acne Clear Light Therapy Pen (P999). The pen uses targeted blue and red light technology to help reduce acne-causing bacteria, which reduces the size and severity of acne. In addition, it lessens the appearance of post-acne marks and helps speed up acne recovery! A miracle pen if you ask me.

Very, Berry Bright

Senka has a new cleanser called Berry Bright (P299), which is infused with red berries and antioxidants. Specifically formulated with cranberries, raspberries, and Japanese Yoshino cherry essence, this new variant nourishes, brightens, and gives the skin a healthy blush. And yes, just like all Senka cleansers, the Perfect Whip Berry Bright has the moisturizing power of silk cocoon essence and double hyaluronic acid!

Whipped to matte perfection

Estée Lauder recently introduced the Pure Color Whipped Matte Lip Color (P1,900), a modernized and innovative liquid lipstick whose texture transforms from creamy whipped to velvety powder-like after application. Available in 9 shades, this weightless and high impact lip color is formulated with Moringa butter and hyaluronic acid. Another exciting lip product I cannot wait to try!

Okay, that’s it for this week! See you again next time!
