Get soft n' easy brows with the K-Palette Lasting 2Way Eyebrow Pencil

As my friend Tita K likes to say, "Kilay is good manners". In the same way that dressing nice to meet someone shows that you care about his or her impression of you, having properly groomed eyebrows shows that you're trying to be polite. It's sloppy to have hair all over your face where it shouldn't be so make the effort if you do care!

If you do not in fact care, then anything goes really. It's your face. Seriously, don't let anyone make you feel bad about how you choose to look, as long as you're properly informed of the options and expectations. Others will judge you but so what? As long as you're happy with how you look then just stick with it.

Anyway, today I've got the latest from K-Palette - the Lasting 2Way Eyebrow Pencil (P795 in Beauty Bar). This is a double-ended pencil and sponge tip for achieving soft, natural looking brows. It comes in three shades: Light Brown, which is technically almost blonde; Natural Brown, a light ebony brown; and Greyish Brown, an ashy dark taupe.

As with all K-Palette products, these pencils can be relied to stay on all day, through sweat and oil. They're very easy and convenient to use - the best option if you've rage quit on cream and pen eyebrow products, actually. The pencil is automatic and the powdered sponge tip blends it out nicely.

Light Brown should be perfect for those who are light-haired; Grayish Brown is for raven-haired folks. Natural Brown looks perfect on my mocha hair as it has a slight red tint to it when worn. I think it's the most wearable, universal color out of the three.

You can see that Grayish Brown stands too much in contrast with my current hair color.

Natural Brown is just right!

My only complaint is that the pencil doesn't color as smoothly as I would like. It kinda tends to skip on bald patches of skin when the area is even the slightest bit damp. I have to keep on going back to color those areas. The sponge tip goes a long way in correcting that though as it distributes a soft wash of color every time.

Nonetheless, I'd still recommend the K-Palette Lasting 2Way Eyebrow Pencil to anyone who wants soft-looking eyebrows that doesn't look penciled in, even when it was. This gives you the convenience of a pencil with the precision and natural finish of a pen! If that's what you're looking for, try it out soon from Beauty Bar.

Lemme know what you think!
