An old fave: The DKNY Be Delicious Scent

Would you believe that six years ago I didn't even like perfumes? I thought they were a waste of money and a superfluous addition to a beauty routine. Oh, younger Liz. She had such silly notions! Now I can't leave the house without spritzing a scent on. I feel naked without one, like a puzzle missing the last piece.

My first real bottle of perfume was the DKNY Be Delicious way back in 2009*. Before Be Delicious I didn't believe that perfumes could help express or alter my mood, or become an accessory that polishes my whole look without fail. But this particular scent opened up my eyes - or rather shall I say, my nose! It smelled like a garden full of fresh apples and always perked me up whenever I sniff it at random points of the day. It remains as one of my favorite fragrances ever, something I can pick up and wear with any look.

This year, DKNY is launching the iconic scent with top model Abbey Lee and famed photographer Mario Sorrenti. The new creative campaign dares us to enter the forbidden Garden of Eden. It evokes the lush urban gardens hidden throughout the heart of New York City. They chose Abbey Lee (she was one of the wives in Mad Max) because she celebrates the fresh, sexy DKNY Be Delicious woman. See images from the campaign here! I love the chic vibe of the shoot. It captures the urban roots of DKNY while telling a romantic story about the city. ^_^ I hope you can try out Be Delicious the next time you're perfume shopping. The 100ml and 50ml retails for P4,550 and P3,500 respectively. DKNY is available in all Rustans Department Stores and SM Department Stores.
