MeMeMe Long Wear Satin Lip Cream in Berry Crush

Oh, lipsticks. There are so many colors out there that even when I feel I've tried them all, something always turns up to surprise me! One example is the MeMeMe Long Wear Satin Lip Cream in Berry Crush (P580 at Makeupholics). I requested for this shade because I just wanted another purple lippie, but when I finally saw it in person I got something better than I expected.

Berry Crush is a deep berry, almost purple shade that flashes blue frost. I like how it flatters my medium yellow skintone; the bold color is also impossible to miss. The blue frost sounds weird in your head I know but when worn it helps to brighten teeth and plump up the lips - trust me!

Hope you'd be satisfied with an Instagram photo! I will update this post when I have a decent snap of me wearing this.

I won't get into the nitty gritty of the formula since I've already reviewed the Long Wear Satin Lip Cream. However I have noticed  that the consistency and opacity of the two shades I have differ. Berry Crush is pigmented in one swipe, unlike my first MeMeMe lipstick called Coral Cloak. The deeper lipstick also doesn't bunch up in streaks where the creme finish of Coral Cloak would.

As much as I love this particular shade though, I'd be the first to say that it's not for everyone. I don't think I'm special okay? I just have a penchant for memorable lipsticks. ;P If you do too then you must try the MeMeMe Long Wear Satin Lip Cream in Berry Crush. You can find it at Makeupholics online or at their stall in Cinderella SM Megamall 2nd Flr Bldg A.

Curious: what's your most daring lipstick ever? Do you ever wear it out, and if so, where?
