FOTD + OOTD: Ginnifer

This is what I wore yesterday to an event. I didn't want to overthink it so I just put on stuff that I felt naturally went together. Seriously, five inch heels and a good bag can make even the simplest of dresses look, well, dressy.

Kashieca dress/ Charles & Keith heels/ Pinkbox bangle and ring/ SM belt/ Louis Vuitton bag

As for the look, I found inspiration from Ginnifer Goodwin. I've been keeping this photo for Lord knows how long! I meant to copy the look but somehow always wound up with neutrals or colors.

I love it! Skin is matte and flawless, eyes are heavy on the top with black eyeshadow, winged out eyeliner, and loads of mascara. Cheeks have a slight peachy blush while lips are nude.

At first glance, it looks like something only a fair-skinned girl can wear, but with some tweaks, I adjusted it for medium Asian skin like mine. It's simple - I just used a blush with more warmth, and mixed my nude beige lipstick with a bit of pink.

Obviously I don't look anything like Ginnifer but I hope you get the idea! Lol. Here's the makeup I used.

Face: Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Foundation, Artdeco Camouflage Concealer (blemishes), Clinique Airbrush Concealer (undereyes), Palgantong loose powder to set the wet makeup, Guerlain Meteorites for a bit of glow

Cheeks: Benefit Hervana

Eyeshadows: Artdeco Eyeshadow Base, Estee Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow in Black Crystal (lid), MAC Wedge eyeshadow (crease), MAC Femme Fi (brow bone)

Eye definition: Avon Perfect Eyebrow Pencil, Estee Lauder Doublewear Eye Pencil in Onyx, Majolica Majorca Lash King mascara, Make Up Forever white cream pencil (inner corners)

Lips: MAC lipstick in Blankety mixed with NYX Soft Matte Lip Creme in Antwerp, topped with a Majolica Majorca lip gloss

So there you go! Hope you like the look. Hey, if you want me to cop a look, just email/ link to a photo and I'll see what I can do! :)

How pretty! The dress, the shoes, the makeup, everything! Now I'd like to try this makeup on myself. That Estee Lauder shadow looks beautiful! If I had one like that, I'd be afraid to touch it. Haha

for a moment there, i thought you'd chopped off your locks. :) i've been extremely tempted to but as i can't use contacts at the moment, i feel the short crop would look too severe with glasses. completely agree with the makeup though; Ginnifer always gets it. :)
