Optimism in lavender

I would call myself a relatively happy and optimistic person. The secret? I don't worry about the things I can't change. I work around them instead of cracking my head open trying to get through. I know in my bones that there are other (maybe even) better things to want, to conquer. There's always something else for me, I just need to keep an eye out for it. And so do you!

Not that I'm particularly sad or disappointed about anything right now ha! I just want to share how I manage not to be bitter and negative, two things that can ruin lives. :) They may sound inconsequential compared to the direct challenges we face everyday, but it's the aftermath - the way we choose to remember them - that can reduce us to a miserable version of ourselves.

Oh but here I am rambling again. I just woke up super early today and that always gets me in a mood. :P So how about you, how do you deal with disappointment? Do you wallow? Or do you pick your ass up from the floor ASAP?
