What's in my bag - October 2012
Monday, October 29, 2012 at 10:01AM So you already know what my favorite bag is right now. Here's what's inside! Surprise, there's A LOT of stuff in it. I'm big on travelling light but if there's extra space I tend to throw in more things just because. Oooh I forgot to take a picture but I also sometimes stuff a pair of thin heels inside if I need to!
Breakdown:
1. Book of the moment: The Bride Wore Pearls by Liz Carlyle. It's a romance novel, haven't gotten too far yet to tell if it's any good. I like bringing books if I know I'm in for a loooot of waiting in meetings and what not.
2. House keys. See that Happy Lemon key chain? Proof that I'm addicted to that stuff. You get a key chain for free if you complete 16 stamps on the loyalty card. I stopped getting stamps because I felt embarrassed by all the Happy Lemon I'm gulping down.
3. Blackberry. I need to be connected 24/7! I wish I were joking, ha ha.
4. SMART Netphone. In case I want to Instagram something! But usually I use it for looking at other people's IG snaps.
5. Avon wallet. I like that it has a huge zippered compartment for coins, bills, and my gosh receipts! I accumulate too many coins and receipts!
6. Watsons Mini-Wet Wipes. This stuff is genius. Watsons sells a big box of ten packs (or more than? I forget) so I don't have to keep on buying when I run out. I also love that the packs are tiny so they fit comfortably in any bag.
7. Rio mints. I got a couple of these mints last week as part of a loot bag and now I get the hype. These mints are expensive for, well, mints, but they're incredibly chic and tasty. Try the mango one, it's almost like candy.
8. Etude House Precious Mineral Sun BB Pact. My favorite retouch powder EVER. It has SPF50!
8. Benetton Bianco Woman. I love bringing this because it takes the amoy araw away in a jiffy. It's also in a compact, sturdy-looking bottle so I'm not scared of breaking it.
9. Lipsticks. I'm into hot pink at the moment so I have two, and one lipstick that's more conservative for more serious meetings.
10. Benefit Hervana Blush. Lovely to bring around because it has a mirror and a blush brush that's actually useful. I don't always have it with me because staying power is superb, but when it's extra muggy and I have an event after a long day I will retouch.
11. Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit. It's so tiny! I like having it in case of any makeup boo boos.
12. Rosebud Salve. For when my lips and nails start to feel dry.
13. Notebook. I didn't use to bring one, but I've developed a habit. Really useful at meetings.

i have the salve, goody brush, hedgren wallet (daming compartments!), umbrella, phone, and 2 envirosax bags. :)
I always bring lip balm, compact powder, kabuki brush (for my powder coz i lost my sponge..), at least 2 lipsticks, eyebrow pencil (for touch ups), eyeliner, cheek tint, cologne, wallet, cellphone, toothbrush, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, my pencil case (complete with pens, scissor, pencil, erase, sharpener etc.), keys, umbrella and a bottle of water. A lot no? heheh.. I have yet to learn the art of leaving stuffs behind. And if your wondering about the pencil case, I'm a nurse so its a prerequisite to cart your own set of school supplies. Anyway, thanks for sharing!
Wow! I want to try the EH powder and the benetton perfume! :D This inspire me more to post what's in my purse too :D

hmm upon writing this i just realized that most of the stuff i carry with me all the time are make ups :p
I carry a wallet, cellphone, car keys, and bag organizer from Muji inside my bag. The bag organizer carries the bulk of my stuff-- wet wipes, powder, retractable brush, oil blotting paper, mirror, Starbucks mints, foldable fan, medicines, Travalo for perfume, lipsticks, lip balm, 1 brown and 1 black eyeliner, a pen, mosquito patch, emergency face towel, and emergency feminine pads. Is that a lot? :( Haha!
Oh gosh Ms. Liz I cannot begin to explain my fascination over WIYB posts and creepo as I may sound, I think this is truly wonderful. Don't we all like to look at pretty things?

Oh! Oh! I love posts like this! :D We're pretty much the same with regards to lipsticks. I change the lipstick inside my kit depending on the ocassion or my outfit. Sometimes I would change my kit too, into a smaller one when I plan to carry just the basics such as lip balms and my pack of oil films. But anyway! Here's what's inside my bag at the moment:
a. Super old Blackberry phone (3 years and still working!)
b. iPod touch (can never leave the home without it!)
c. Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm in Menthol

....and no comb/brush whatsoever! That is what I envy about curly-haired people. The messier, the prettier!

I usually bring a book, currently reading The Singing by CK Williams, itouch, phone, planner & sign pens, wallet
Make-up pouch: Unscented lip ice sheer color, revlon pressed powder (can't wait to finish this and try a new brand hehe), mac springsheen blush, mac petrol blue eyeliner, vmv l/s in giddy, revlon l/s in fire&ice/siren/fuschia, a kabuki and a blush-on brush, cinema secrets undereye concealer.
Another pouch for: ID w/ keys, nivea creme, watsons olive hand cream, tissue, floss, hairpins and a ponytail for my curls when they tend to get too wild or I'm too lazy to bother :>
I usually have my wallet, my cellphone, a lip balm, hand lotion, alcohol, my EH Sun BB pact, my lipstick for the day, tissue and my Samsung Galaxy Note. These are the items I transfer from the bag I used to the bag I'm going to use.
I usually don't retouch though. I just use the tissue to blot oil and reapply balm. Cause I don't need to use a mirror for both. haha. The most important item I always have to have with me are my hand lotion and lip balm. Sometimes these are the only reason I bring a purse. I hate it when my hands are dry.
The rosebud salve looks like it's lovely to try out.

4. My book du jour (Right now, Jhumpa Lahiri's "The Unaccustomed Earth")
5. Lots of pens in different colours
6. My notebook (because you never know when a revelation would hit you)

I looooove looking what's in my bag posts! :) Na-ah, its not creepo at all. Its just human fascination I guess especially with us fellow ladies. Not getting all defensive at all. lol. Moving on to thee contents of my bag.

Am I even a girl? It's amazing how all of you girls bring such stuff! :)) I don't usually carry a bag. I just have a pouch with me where I put everything--my money, my camera, and just a lip gloss. I lost my phone so it's less bulky now hehe
I usually bring a payong, wallet, 4 lipstick shades, water(for hydration! kailangan well hydrated para healthy inside out), alcohol, my givenchy pi pabango, a notebook, ballpens, and a book to read. I'm currently reading A Tale of Two Cities. Exciting read for long waits! :)
I always have a lot of stuff in my bag, which is why my friends often ask me "Dala mo na ba ang bahay mo?" lol
I usually bring:
-an umbrella
-tissue
-hand sanitizer
-heels (lol, i wear flats on the way to the office and just change to my "office shoes")
-pen
-notebook
-extra pen (i always lose my pens, boo :( )
-Sky Flakes, for when I get hungry because I'm too busy to eat lunch
-a hairbrush
-meds
-In2It lipstick in Juice
-Human Heart Nature lip balm :)
-Avon Glimmersticks eyeliner
-toothbrush, toothpaste, facial wash (for those situations when I suddenly feel like brushing my teeth or washing my face...)
-bug spray!
-a wallet to keep all my receipts, cards, and cash
