Back To The 80's: The Body Shop Originals and Body Butters

The Body Shop introduced their newest collection of 80's favorites to beauty bloggers yesterday. It was a fun  80's-inspired event topped off with our favorite White Hat yogurt!

I was born in the late 80's so I didn't get the chance to experience these oldies-but-goodies products. I'm glad that The Body Shop decided to bring these best-sellers to our generation! I got to test some of the products and aside from the hands-down winner - Banana Banane Shampoo and Conditioner - I suggest you check out the Cucumber Cleansing Milk (a makeup remover in a big bottle yay) and the Green Apple, Fuzzy Peach, and Dew Berry bath and shower gels. They smell incredibly good.

One product I'm curious about is the Passion Fruit Facial Cleansing Gel. I wonder if it's any good? Have you tried it? How is it?

The Body Shop also relaunched their Body Butters. I know at some point that you girls have tried these, so if you want to stock up, now is a great time. They're on sale from January 8 to 28, slashed from P695 to just P495. Try the Wild Cherry, Moringa, and Satsuma butters. They're the nicest-smelling ones. Shea and Olive, not so much. Olive smells like rancid lipstick.

I got the Banana Banane Shampoo which I'm excited to try. I've been using baby shampoo for half a year now, so I want to see how this shampoo does with all its organic ingredients. At the very least, it smells great (gracious, I've said "smell" so many times in this post already!). Will keep you posted.

So, what do you think? Does this collection speak to you? What are you planning to get? What do you already have, and how is it? Let me know in the comments!
