Liz's Wishlist

I’m going to be honest with you guys. I haven’t been buying a lot of makeup lately (ehem, ehem). I mean, I have been buying as much as I used to. I cut back because I have all I need as of the moment. I’ve acquired quality products that works so well, I’ve stopped looking for similar items already. However, I still want to upgrade my current collection to choice pieces that I will use FOREVER! I’ve set my eyes on these items and I hope to acquire them by the end of the year. I really really really want them. I super want them. I am totally in want with them!

Urban Decay Ammo Shadow Box! This palette has ten of Urban Decay’s best selling shades. It was produced to celebrate the brand’s tenth anniversary, and if I’m not mistaken, it’s still on sale at Sephora. It has all the basic colors a girl needs for day and night, plus according to reviews, it’s very pigmented. I’ve wanted to buy this since last year but it’s not available in the Philippines, boo hoo. It’s $36 (around P1700), which makes it an absolute steal. Would you know of a kind soul who can buy and ship this for me? I’d be eternally grateful!

Smashbox Rapture Lip Gloss Set! This is from the holiday collection last year. Beauty Bar branches still have this set for sale for only P1500. I only have one lip gloss from Smashbox (Crystal) and I like it a lot. It’s not thick on the lips and lasts long compared to cheaper glosses.

Smashbox Muse Artist Palette! This is from the Smashbox Spring 09 Collection. It’s P2,250 at Beauty Bar (yikes) but the price is really good, considering how one Smashbox eyeshadow costs almost P1,000. Colors apply sheer, and I imagine they’re only perfect for day makeup, but this is Smashbox people! Smashbox! It comes with a brush too. If you ask me, I’d rather have the Urban Decay Ammo palette than this—nonetheless, this is a nice palette with basic colors for a lot of feminine, delicate looks, which is in contrast with the Ammo. I’d still bite this, but I have to save!

So yeah, these are my Makeup Goals for the year. I really have to quit buying second rate stuff and just save my money for these. It’s just that I get sooo distracted, especially by sales. -.-
