Sunwear Everywhere: Sun protection is a year-round affair
Vice Cosmetics just pulled off their biggest launch yet, marking a major milestone with the debut of their very first skincare line. Meet Sunwear, a collection designed to protect and care for your skin without getting in the way of your daily life. With five new products in the lineup, Sunwear has you covered whether you’re clocking in hours at your desk or heading out on an adventure. And no matter the season, it is always worth remembering that sun protection is a year-round essential.
This launch was three years in the making, a thoughtfully crafted collection of effortless, high-performance products at an accessible price point. The grand reveal at MOA Sky was an afternoon of discovery, fun, and of course, plenty of sun, all while staying protected from those harsh UV rays.
Star power siblings Naia Black and Allison Black hosted the event. Naia’s favorite is the Invisible Shield Sun Cream while Allison’s fave is the Skin Rescue Calming Mist.
Sunwear Everywhere
The entire collection was out on display at the Sunwear Everywhere fair as guests got to try out the newest products and enjoy themed games.
A fresh new discovery for me is the Skin Rescue Calming Mist (P395/100ml), a hypochlorous acid spray that helps soothe stressed-out skin and restore elasticity. Its antibacterial properties also work to control and reduce bacterial acne. With aloe and panthenol in the mix, this mist not only hydrates but also calms the skin, transforming it from heat-stressed to refreshed and radiant.
Match your dew with the Fresh Dew Lip Balm (P345/2.5g) in six luscious buttery shades. Formulated with mango butter, hyaluronic acid, and peptides for deep moisturization and improved lip texture. This is a buttery smooth lip balm packed with SPF and skin loving ingredients. Designed for reapplication for all day sun protection with flattering subtle pigment. And even if I’m warm toned, my favorite shade is Sunlit. Because there are no rules when it comes to makeup.

The Infinite Blur Skin Tint (P495/30ml) is back and better than ever, now with added SPF 50+ for extra protection. The shade range has expanded to ten options across light, light-medium, medium, and tan skin tones. It offers a natural satin finish that feels light and breathable, with skin-loving ingredients like panthenol, centella extract, and watermelon extract to soothe and hydrate. Makeup and skincare in one bottle! I do hope we’ll see an even wider range of shades for us morena girls in the future.

The Invisible Shield Sun Cream (P495/50ml) is a new addition to your sun protection arsenal, powered with SPF 50+ and PA++++. Like with any sun cream or sunscreen, we have only one question — is there a whitecast? Our answer? No! The sun cream goes on white and blends out without a whitecast! On top of sun protection, the sun cream is packed with skin-loving actives like niacinamide, ceramides, and centella extract. It is sticky on application and dries down tacky, then smooth, as a perfect base.
The SPF Boost Sun Mist (P495/100ml) is perfect for those effortless, on-the-go touch-ups, with SPF 25+ and PA++. You can use this mist on bare skin or over makeup — it works as both sun care and a hydrating spray. Panthenol, ceramides, and peptides elevate this mist with skin-loving benefits. It does feel a bit sticky at first but dries down smooth after a few minutes.
The Sunwear Race
The Sunwear Race allowed attendees to live out their Amazing Race dreams as guests played, explored, and discovered the new Sunwear must haves. Five games narrowed down the crowd as they battled using both brains and brawn for one final prize. From the crowd teams formed to beat out the rest, winning them prizes from Jabra and an eyepopping P100,000 worth of Vice Cosmetics products!
My Review
Of course, a launch wouldn’t be complete without a little review. The Sun Cream and SPF Boost Sun Mist work perfectly together to keep your skin protected throughout the day. Both go on tacky but dry down smooth. One of my biggest struggles with sun protection has always been reapplication, so having an option that’s as simple as spritzing over makeup is a huge win for me.
Looks great in both indirect and direct sun!
The Infinite Skin Blur Tint is truly breathable and comfortable to wear, I even forgot I had it on at the end of the day. It’s a lightweight skin tint and can be a daily driver when you want to skip full foundation. I found that the color remains true throughout the day without much color change or oxidation.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again; I love a glossy lip. And the Fresh Dew Lip Balm in Sunlit is a new favorite of mine. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — I love a glossy lip. The Fresh Dew Lip Balm in Sunlit is a new favorite of mine. It glides on like butter without feeling too greasy and delivers great moisture. Since it’s not a stain, you will need to reapply if you want to maintain the color. One thing to note, it does have a bit of that SPF taste, so if you’re sensitive to that, you might want to check out one of Vice’s other lippies. But if you’re on the hunt for a good SPF lip balm, this one is worth trying.
The Skin Rescue Calming Mist is a great pick for anyone with an active lifestyle or sensitive, inflamed skin. The calming and anti-inflammatory ingredients can really help reset and soothe the skin. I recommend doing a patch test on your inner arm first to see if it works for you. If it does, you may notice reduced inflammation and it could even help with symptoms of eczema. Personally, I didn’t experience any irritation while using this product, but I’ll continue testing it and keep an eye out for any changes.
