Quickie: Revlon Highlighting Palette in Bronze Glow

Today is a cloudy, rainy day, perhaps the day that officially marks the end of summer. It's flooding in Quezon City right now so I don't know how much by way of proof you need! Haha. Anyway, let's literally illuminate our day with the Revlon Highlighting Palette in Bronze Glow (P625). I got this from the BDJ Box last month and it's a surprising hit for me! I've tried Revlon face colors before and they didn't really set my ass on fire. This one does.

This looks a lot like the famous Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick, which I have, also in Bronze. The shimmer isn't quite as dense but it's there twinkling amidst the soft, silky pigment. The texture of this bronzer from Revlon is nice and luxe. It's bit loose in the pan, but it goes on smoothly and doesn't streak.

The different colors can be used separately depending on how much highlighting and blushing you have to do. The top strip is a fine, pearly white. Next to it is a sort of dusty mauve, next is a coppery bronze, followed by a peachy bronze, with a deep bronze in the bottom. These shades would be gorgeous as eyeshadows, too!

Here I am using all shades below my cheekbones, swept inwards towards the apples of my cheeks. It's beautifully subtle no? Not too sparkly but the glow is there. The pigmentation is incredible by the way so use this bronzer sparingly.

Overall, I highly recommend the Revlon Highlighting Palette in Bronze Glow if you're looking for a new highlighting, bronzing, and eyeshadow palette. It's fairly affordable for such a multi-purpose product. ^_^

Thoughts? Do you use bronzers or do you prefer highlighters instead?

You can purchase this product at the BDJ Box online store. Yes, BDJ has it too! Enjoy shopping!
