L-R: Blended swatches of Kanebo Veil of the Day and Kanebo Global Skin Protector

Kanebo's skincare are admittedly on the pricey side, so if you're interested in trying out the brand it might be good to start with their award-winning products like the Kanebo Veil of Day SPF 50 (P3,600). This is a moisturizing sunscreen that also functions as a hydrating primer and goes on practically invisible. Their Kanebo Global Skin Protector SPF50+ PA++++ (P3,000) is for more active days as this one is said to be more hydrating and waterproof.

The brand also has sets like the Kanebo Skincare Kit F (P6,000), which contains the On Skin Essence F, the award-winning Cream In Day, and the Cream in Night. The cost of this kit's bigger versions add up to P16,800, so I really appreciate these smaller versions that allow me to try out products before committing to the full-sized.

There's also the highly-rated Kanebo Radiant Skin Refiner (P2,700) that is a "conditioning and removing" double action lotion. It is applied with a cotton pad to nourish the skin while removing old skin cells to gently exfoliate. This can also be used for a weekly treatment by soaking cotton pads and leaving on the skin for 3 minutes. I’m looking forward to trying these out as I’ve had good experiences with Japanese skincare.

Makeup is also part of Kanebo's product lineup. The Kanebo Fusionfit Wear Foundation (P3,600) is geared towards oily skin types while the winner of Best Cosmetics Awards AW 2022, Kanebo Lively Skin Wear (P6,000), is a creamier version that’s best for dry skin types with a preference for a more natural look.

They also have the Kanebo Eye Color Duos (P1,380/duo) which have the prettiest shimmer + matte shadows in the trendiest shades. The colors above are the new releases for SS2023. I also like how these are sustainable with minimal plastic use and that they have a lot of reusable packaging throughout their makeup line.

Do drop by the new Kanebo Flagship Store at Mitsukoshi Mall in BGC to check out more about the brand and their offerings!
