An Icon is Born: Presenting the Limited Edition Issy Cowgirl Collection
When the Issy Fat Gloss first launched in September last year, no one quite expected one shade to become so beloved that it would go on to spawn a limited edition full face collection. That shade clearly struck a chord with Filipinas, turning up on lips, in makeup hauls, and across our feeds again and again until it became a cult favorite in its own right. Fast forward to 2026, and we're now celebrating the birth of an icon: the Issy Cowgirl.
The original Cowgirl shade is a milky, muted rose that sits right between warm and cool, making it a versatile choice for a lot of Filipino skin tones. Issy adapted this shade into several of their existing products, and the resulting Issy Cowgirl Collection launched at the end of February. It sold out almost immediately, but the brand did a final restock for the 3.3 sale that gave many of us one last shot at grabbing our picks. It might still be possible to score some items in-store, so here's a quick review of the collection to help you decide which ones are worth hunting down.
There are 3 lip products in the Cowgirl Collection, each with a different finish and shine level. First up is the Issy Cowgirl Mousse Lip Tint (P399), a lip stain with a plush matte finish. Then there's the Issy Cowgirl Lip Bullet True Satin (P399), a bullet lipstick with a satin finish. And finally, the one that started it all, the Issy Cowgirl Fat Gloss (P399), a lip gloss with a mirror glaze finish.

Aside from the shade itself, the formulas are identical to the original releases, so what you love (or already know) about each one still applies here. Shade-wise, the Cowgirl Lip Bullet leans toward a neutral muted rose, while the other two are described as a milky muted rose. Below are swatches of all three lip products, and I've also included the Crème Flush Stick since it's a multi-use item from the collection worth looking at side by side.
For the cheeks, the Cowgirl Collection offers two formats to choose from: cream or powder. The Issy Cowgirl Creme Flush Stick (P449) is a cream stick in a neutral muted rose, while the Issy Cowgirl Powder Blush Micropalette (P449) comes in a milky muted rose. Interestingly, when swatched, the Powder Blush looks a touch brighter than the shade description might suggest, which gives it a nice, flushed pop on the cheeks. Both blushes are wonderfully portable, and if you go for the Powder Blush, you can also pick up an Issy Micropalette that lets you refill with other colors from Issy's Custom Palette System, a thoughtful option if you like to mix and match or travel light.
The whole collection comes in limited edition chrome pink packaging, which truly makes it a collectible lineup for Issy fans. I especially love these two for their versatility: you can use the Crème Flush Stick all over the lids, lips, and cheeks as a base shade, then layer the Cowgirl Powder Blush on top for a pop of color. The Powder Blush formula feels almost like a cream, and I find I can apply and blend it out with just my fingers, which makes it a great pick for quick makeup days or on-the-go touch-ups.
You can also pick up a refillable Issy Nanopalette with the Issy Cowgirl Eyeshadow Duo Nanopalette (P449). It features two shades: Reverse, a frosted muted rose, and Cowgirl, a gilded muted rose. Both are noticeably shimmery on the first swipe and glide onto the eyelids quite smoothly. I like wearing Cowgirl as a quick daytime shade all over the lids for that soft, easy wash of color, and adding Reverse as a topper instantly brightens and pumps up the whole look, which makes it a nice option for taking a daytime eye into the evening.
Swatches from L-R: Issy Cowgirl Eyeshadow Duo Nanopalette in Cowgirl and Reverse, Issy Cowgirl Powder Blush Micropalette, Issy Cowgirl Crème Flush Stick, Issy Cowgirl Lip Bullet True Satin, Issy Cowgirl Mousse Lip Tint, Issy Cowgirl Fat Gloss
While the collection is inspired by the original Cowgirl shade, the colors across the Cowgirl Collection aren't all exactly the same. Each one is well-thought-out and carefully curated, and they actually complement each other in a way that comes together to create a cohesive, head-to-toe makeup look. It's another good one from Team Issy, and a nice reminder of how much thought goes into their limited edition releases.
Some of these products are still available at the time of writing on the Issy website and their official stores on Shopee and Lazada. You can also try your luck at offline Issy boutiques, which are listed on the Issy store locator webpage.
